Hitches & Things Lance Trailer Hitch Cover

HavaBrew22 ·
Let me start of by saying that I am in no way affiliated with Hitches & Things and do not stand to make $.01 from any sales of this item. I did pay for the design fees for this custom made hitch so that the LOA community could buy a Lance hitch cover. I purchased this from Trevor who is the owner and operator. Per his website, "Hitches & Things is based out of Chehalis, WA. It is a company owned and operated by a disabled veteran who is proud to support a variety of charities across...

STRONGBACK Guru Folding Camp Chair with Lumbar Support

Advnturer ·
I found a camp chair that is the most comfortable camp chair I have ever sat in. STRONGBACK Guru Folding Camp Chair with Lumbar Support The Guru is for normal stature people but for those with longer legs, the Elite is three inches taller. (I am 6' and the Guru fits me perfectly.) What sets these chair apart is the seat is designed around the lumbar support and I do not have that sinking feeling that I have when in most of the camp chairs I have sat in. Along with the support, I feel like I...

You got me thinking so, I got my wife to surf the net with me. We spent last night looking for compost toilets. Here are the 4 major makers that I found. Natures Head http://www.natureshead.net/tin...SKnswCFZNgfgodIB8G-w Air Head http://airheadtoilet.com/ Separett https://www.separett-usa.com/i...terless-toilets.html C Head http://www.c-head.com/ All four have advantages. One thing that the C head focused on was taking the urine and directing it into holding tanks instead of the bottle in...

Re: LPG Tank Check

Ghostrider ·
I can add a followup also. If you have 30# tanks, the rubber spacers they come with are not strong enough...the unit ended up being crushed and then water entered the device and it died. I got 2 new sensors for the tanks and I used a few small pieces of paint sticks taped together to make a higher stand for the tanks. Working great so far!

If you contact the "Tank Check" manufacturer they will send you 8 metal standoffs for your tanks. They are aluminum and you have to tap them on to the bottom rim of your tanks. I think they will holdup much better than the original rubber ones. Happy Campers BobnRobin

I'm going on 2 years and second set of batteries! They do have aluminum stand-offs in place of the Greenies! Below is a screan shot I took from my living room of the house with trailer 60' away. Great setup with the phone app. Happy Campers BobnRobin

Re: Mr. Heater Portable Buddy LP heater (supplemental while awake heat)

Terry Gfeller ·
I have two small ones and one big buddy, they see extensive use in my fish house (ice fishing) and during deer season I have a insulated enclosed deer stand on my property. Other than melting a few things that brushed up against them I have never had any problems, but I would hesitate using too long in a very tightly sealed space without a little ventilation. They are pretty much the standard in this area for icefishing so if there were any major problems with them I would have heard of it...

Re: Big E's List Of Recommended Camping Stuff

Mike and Sue ·
I'd add an inflater. Giles and I both have an18V battery operated one that I love for its portability and digital setting capability. I also pack an 18V trouble light - small, portable, and has built in stand. Also it operates off normal house current. Finally I carry disposable rubber gloves. The best I've found are nitrile heavy duty black rubber. A ten pac costs about five dollars at HD.

I have the smaller Ryobi inflator - handy little tools - works great for my air shocks, and an 18 volt, Ryobi drill that I use to raise/lower the stabilizers

Re: WeatherTech FloorLiners

Nutman ·
I agree, the Weather Tech do cover and protect good, but are kinda slippery. Next time around I think I’ll shop for something more rubbery. We only have the smaller Weather Tech ones that fit only in the footwells and don’t cover the transmission hump. The driver side stays put cuz it snaps in place, however the passenger side doesn't have snaps and kinda moves around on the carpet and has to be repositioned occasionally........another reason to look for a rubbery mat the next time I buy...
