TST TPMS New and Improved Wide Screen Color Monitor

R&V Spiker ·
I just received my TST Wide Screen color monitor yesterday and got it up and running on the bench. Wow! The display is real nice with larger digits and added color. However, I do have a few issues I'd like to report. The new monitor is now powered by a 5 volt mini plug just like what one uses for their smart phone (Android, not Apple). This presents a challenge as I had the previous 12 volt monochrome monitor's power cord hard wired into the overhead console in my Tundra which was a nice...

Keep a close eye on your ladder mounting brackets, bottom and rooftop. If you fly your flag in high winds it puts stress on these points.

Michaelm ·
Unfortunately, my allocated spots have all been taken. If you can possibly make your own reservation directly with Flying Flags (not as part of the rally), you're more than welcome to join in the fun and participate in all the activities, but you probably won't be camped near the rest of us. Sorry, but that's the best I can offer you at this time.

Re: 4th Annual Veterans Day Rally in Buellton

Michaelm ·
Hello Art & Janie, How could we say no to someone named Buell when the rally is in Buellton! I'll put you down for four nights. Next step is to send me either one night's deposit ($75.04) or payment for all four nights ($300.16) via PayPal at michaelm77@yahoo.com . If you don't do PayPal, send me a private message and we can arrange snail mail. Looking forward to seeing you at the rally!

Okie Doke. I installed this today in about 5 minutes. I say installed, but really I just plugged in everything and tried it. I am using the pre-built platform for my WIFI antenna. I have an junction box that was already on my roof from my Solar, so I previously installed two plates to it. Sealed it with sealant, and then would shove my vertical wifi antenna in when not in motion (or when I needed it). I adjusted it by backing out the screws slightly. I bought an L, and an steel electrical...

Whoops, posted before I added all the info. Flying Flags is in wonderful Buellton, CA where there is plenty to do, such as visiting the great little town of Solvang, plenty of places to taste wine and there is a local brewery and even an Indian Casino nearby. The resort offers activities, like Boce Ball and Horse Shoes, plus swimming, hot whirlpool, Link To Activities & Eating We will be having a potluck on Saturday night, so bring your own plates and utensils, and if you have your own...

Yes, I hit a scale in August. I’m well within the trailer weight and TV tow weight. The tounge weight was surprisingly high but within range. As for the stuff in the photo, I wish I could claim it’s all mine but Flying Flags RV Resort in Buellton, CA provided the fire pit , barbecue, table, and propane. They even clean the firepit, barbecue and refill the propane daily - GLAMPING! The bikes, chairs, Ice chest and lantern our mine.

Re: RITV4

John and Pam Hanson ·
Hi Shannon, We are John and Pam Hanson (lifetime members, but only since Aug/2017 when we bought our trailer and joined the LOA). We just returned from our first rally at flying flags in Buellton, Ca. We had a great time with some really great folks! It was there that we learned about the RITV this coming January. We also learned that it is fully booked already! A big disappointment since we live in the east valley (San Tan Valley, Az). We would like to put our names on the waiting...

Re: Flag Pole Buddy 22' Fiberglass Pole & 2.0 Ladder Mount Kit

SerKel ·
I have had my Lagpole buddy for a few years now, and its the first time I pulled out in about 3 years. Some sections I can't pull it out far enough to see the holes to put the pins into. The last sections are the ones that are not sliding out enough, any advice for those that have the fiberglass one. UPDATE: Dave from Flag Buddy called me up on Friday, to explain to me that version 2.0 has a safety pin at each section, and to tell me that that his new flag pole flag ring are better that the...

Re: What is being used for incoming Verizon signal boosting ?

DriftlessCamper ·
This is the unit I use, works well. It will boost an intermittent or one bar signal to 2-3 bars. You have to have your device close to inside antenna. And have the outside antenna as high as possible, mine is mounted on an extended painters pole using a Flag Buddy mount on the ladder. https://www.weboost.com/products/drive-reach-rv

Re: Starlink Mini

satek60 ·
I used those clamps for our flagpole mounts. I welded a tab on a section of chain link fence post in my scrap pile an added some nuts and bolts to secure the pole. It stays on the ladder during travel. I remove the pole, extend it and attach the flag and put it in the mounts from the ground. I believe it would work for a starlink antennae.

Re: Starlink Mini

Slotown ·
The Starlink Mini came in last Friday and the Flagpole Buddy arrived today. Installed everything this morning. Including the flag pole installation, took about 1 1/2 hour to setup and dial in my account. Connected the RV TV and my phone. Watched a little YouTube before I stopped for the day. Real test will be when we go to Blackwater River State Park in December. Bad cell connections and no WiFi. I ordered the Flagpole Buddy directly from the company. That was probably a minor mistake. I...
