Sistema Easy Egg Microwave Cooker

WoodGlue ·
I don't really like my eggs microwaved, but this little gem has me sold. It's by Sistema and a easy cleanup and at $6.99 it's a deal! Sistema Easy Egg

We have two of the Systema Noodle Bowls and love them. I like to toss some cut up Yukon Gold potatoes with a little olive oil, seasonings, diced onion, diced bell peppers and microwave them in one of the bowls for about six minutes in the Lance microwave. These containers also work well with canned soups. The fastenings are very user friendly and open easily. You're unlikely to end up wearing your meal when you take the lid off. Now you've got me thinking about this egg bowl....

Yes, the "32 ounce" size. Plenty of space to stir the contents before putting it in the microwave. Also works well with firm veggies like carrots and broccoli. Just put them in wet from being washed and they cook beautifully. (Or add a tiny bit of water if you buy them ready to cook.). I'm an energetic mixer, so always like a bowl with a little space in it. Haven't tried the bowl with actual noodle soup in it, lol.

Well here is my review trying 1 egg 1st, then with 2 eggs. Followed instructions and added a little milk. Kinda rubbery not fluffy like in a frying pan.

Re: Battle Born LFP Battery Capacity Test

I agree with Doug above, ever since the dawn of LFP's it's been an option to fit YOUR camping style. Lead acid won't support Harriets load requirements and they have allowed ours to grow into alotta inverter comfort use. I was happy to shed lead but for some it still works. I was initially real happy to sleep in a real bed, have hot water and a fridge. Now flip a switch for coffee, warm a sausage egg biscuit in the microwave and run the AC for lunch all on battery and sun power. What's next?

Totally agree, right now I get by quite comfortably with two LA batteries, 200w of portable solar and a generator for a backup. A week of dry camping is not a problem for me. My needs may change in the future, but for now I don’t feel the need to upgrade.
