Wow, I just did a run down on the sites reserved for our informal get together: 107,108,110,111,114,116,117,118,119 It's going to be cool to see so many Lance campers in this section. I think I need to do a special event t-shirt for this. You are coming to the right place for salt water activities. You might consider booking a few things well ahead of your departure. It is looking to be a very busy holiday season on Vancouver Island. On another topic. Coming up the I-5 though Bellingham and Blaine can be a driving nightmare. Consider peeling off the I-5 at Olympia and head to Port Angeles. The Black Ball Ferry MV Coho take you onto Vancouver Island and an easy drive up the highway to Parksville and all points north and West.

Hi Ted, We have travelled numerous times on both ferries. Travelling in peak season means peak pricers. The MV Coho has fixed prices on all sailings but some BC ferries have breaks on fares if you don't mind very early travelling. You need to goto the BC ferry website to see if any Fare Savers apply when you will be sailing. Reservations are a must for all ferries during peak season.
