SlimPort-to-HDMI adapter for mirroring phone on tv
I/we wanted an easy way to mirror my phone ( LG G3 (with unlimited data)) to the TT's tv to watch baseball games (I have an MLB subscription) & watch movies that are stored on my phone or that I have copies of through the Google cloud. So I ordered aSlimPort-to-HDMI adapter: http://www.slimportconnect.com/ I ordered it from Amazon ($31.20 with Amazon Prime): http://www.amazon.com/Official...ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_t Here is an updated list of supported phones...

Re: LPG Tank Check
I got a pair last June and they work GREAT! We only went through a couple refills, but the level or EMPTY were right on. Had to replace the batteries in both units in January, but with battery readout with propane level no problem. I use the Bluetooth on my Samsung Galaxy and we park our trailer at home, so I can check the level of the tanks from the house, so the transmit distance is real good. It will be interesting when a lot of trailers get them as to how discrete the signals are. Hope...

TireMinder Smart TPMS - Smartphone Based Tire Pressure Monitor for RVs
http://www.minderresearch.com/...ure-monitor-for-rvs/ Our last TPMS (by TST) which we used for the past few years completely failed us last month so it's time to give another one a try. Having a single-axle trailer we realize the many benefits in monitoring the pressure & temperature of the TT's 2 tires as well as the main spare tire and a 2nd extreme emergency spare tire that is for trips that are more than a few hours from home (it will stay home for local trips). The main spare tire...

Re: TireMinder Smart TPMS - Smartphone Based Tire Pressure Monitor for RVs
Final pre-trip report. Once the Bluetooth adapter is turned on the app syncs within 30 seconds. I really like that I get tire psi, tire temperature, & tire sensor battery level readings in a single glance before it moves on to the next tire. I prefer/keep my 2 rolling tires at 62 psi and the spare at 65 psi. * This is a semi-local trip so leaving the 2nd spare (50 psi) at home which rides in the truck bed. Since it's staying home I disabled the TV section so that the app doesn't keep...

Re: TireMinder Smart TPMS - Smartphone Based Tire Pressure Monitor for RVs
Bumping this not-too-old thread.... Just got my Tireminder Smart TPMS and will be installing and setting it up next week when I get back to the trailer down in Tucson. Nice packaging! A couple of questions for those of you that have actually installed and used them. This is going on a 2018 2285 (dual separate battery compartments) pulled by a F250 CCSB truck with a rigid topper on the back. I was thinking of putting the signal booster in one of the battery compartments and, at least for now,...

1) Absolutely you can use the phone for anything/everything else. Even other Bluetooth connections. These were 2 of my very first questions during my initial phone call. 2) Will do.

Re: TireMinder Smart TPMS - Smartphone Based Tire Pressure Monitor for RVs
Tried out the system this morning - everything was quick, simple, & accurate. I first checked all tires with my high-end tire pressure gauge. I then had the system learn all 4 tires. The pressure on all 4 tires was spot on against my gauge. Again, we have 4 trailer tires (with load range & the desired psi) - 1. Driver's side (load range D, 62) 2. Passenger side (load range D, 62) 3. Main spare under the TT (load range D, 62) 4. Extreme emergency spare for longer trips that will ride...

Re: Dometic LP GasChecker (LPGC10)
That seems like a nice device but I have one quesiton. How thick is it, which is to say will it fit in the half inch I have between the bottom of the tank and the surface which the tank's ring pedestal sits on? Are those aluminum feet really necessary? I'm not sure how many questions that ended up being.

Re: Dometic LP GasChecker (LPGC10)
We too have the older, thicker mopeka, works great for us with the phones bluetooth app. They sell a rubber ring for the bottom of the tank, this gives more clearance for the older, thicker sensor. The little aluminum feet are near worthless.

Re: Micro-Air EasyTouch Rv Comfort Control
I don’t find it has that capability like a Nest. Basically, it’s able to Bluetooth to your phone or iPad all of the controls of the thermostat in a fancy app. The advantage is being able to not wake all the way up and trip over the dog to turn the heat on. I can open one eye, hit the app and the red flames icon and go back to sleep. Plus the large print color display is easy to see vs the factory.

Ok. Guess I'll stick with the stock thermostat for now. I can always (try) to make my wife do it (which means I'll get out of bed and do it). Thanks!
