Update: our first long road trip with the dispenser and it's working great. We really like not having bottles of soap or shampoo to deal with. Don

Re: Better Living Liquid Soap Dispenser
I notice your picture showed the regular command strips. They also make ones specifically for showers/wet areas that can be used to stick up soap dishes etc. They sell the strips separately from the soap dishes and you might try those if your regular ones come unstuck. I got mine at Camping World but have seen them at my local hardware store.

Chemical Guys - TORQ Foam Cannon & Honeydew Snow Foam Wash
How It Works: Professional detailers and hardcore enthusiasts wash dirt from cars as gently as possible. The wrong touch pushes dirt around and grinds ugly scratches and swirls into the shiny finish. The TORQ Professional Foam Cannon Snow Foamer adds a blanket of super-slick and slippery car wash suds to lubricate any abrasive dirt particles. Prepare the TORQ Foam Cannon by filling the soap solution tank with water, then add 1-3 ounces of your favorite Chemical Guys car wash soap. Gently...

Better Living Liquid Soap Dispenser
We bought a Better Living liquid soap dispenser through Camping World. It comes with good consumer reviews. Sometime in the near future, we plan to mount it in our shower. Before we do so, I would like to know if anyone has had...

Re: Better Living Liquid Soap Dispenser
Okay...so, using the advice above, today I mounted the soap dispenser to the shower wall using command hooks. All that remains now is to stress test it. I'll give another report after we do that. Don Left to right: the wall bracket that holds the soap dispenser, 16-lb command hooks, and the soap dispenser. Command hooks adhered to the back of the wall bracket. The wall bracket adhered to the shower wall using the command hooks. The soap dispenser with the lid removed. It can taken down from...

The canisters are designed with buttons which have to be pushed in (toward the wall) to dispense soap, rather than levers which have to be pulled out (away from the wall) to dispense soap. My...

Re: Better Living Liquid Soap Dispenser
I put one in our fifth wheel and liked it. One problem is not all the soap comes out so when you want to clean it kind of a pain. Never had a problem with it's operation, but I'm not putting another one in.

Re: Better Living Liquid Soap Dispenser
When we installed ours they had recommended extra silicon, which I did and it never moved or came loose. As far as I know it's still on there, the only problem again was we didn't live in the fifth wheel so it only got used once a month and sometimes we didn't go camping for a few months so the soap and shampoos would dry out somewhat and it was a pain to clean, other then that I think they are a great idea.

i got the same type of thing from bedbathand beyond, the 3m tape i used worked for a short time, went in to get ready for a trip and it had fallen on the floor and liqid soap was everywhere. i just drilled some small holes and screwd it in and siliconed it up. no issue or worry. you can alwayls lift up my unit to clean or refill.

You might want to try automotive molding double sided tape sold at most auto parts store. It's made to stick pretty much anything you want to the outside of your vehicle.Originally Posted by texasbowlerhat: i got the same type of thing from bedbathand beyond, the 3m tape i used worked for a short time, went in to get ready for a trip and it had fallen on the floor and liqid soap was everywhere. i just drilled some small holes and screwd it in and siliconed it up. no issue or worry. you can...

Re: Better Living Liquid Soap Dispenser
Update: after 48 hours the soap dispenser is working great for us. As long as the command hooks hold, I think this product is a keeper for us. No bottles or soap dishes cluttering the lavatory. And showers are quick and efficient, and don't leave puddles of water outside the shower curtain. At the end of this outing, we'll take the dispenser off the wall, clean it, and put it away for the winter. Next spring, we'll bring it out again. One note: we'll also take it off the wall whenever we're...

Re: Why you want the Honda EU2200i Companion
The receptacles are 20 amp. Page 12 of the manual.(or look at the plug-NEMA 20 amp ) No need for the companion unless you are paralleling 2 generators or like the twistlok 30 amp plug.

Re: Unique Tank Sensor Cleaner
I just visited the Unique website and they recommend using at least 20 oz of Dawn Ultra in the gray water tank to clean it. Their sensor cleaner product works great to dissolve organic waste in the black water tank, but grease and soap scum build-up are the main issues in the gray water tank. https://uniquecampingmarine.co...k-sensors-in-your-rv
