Re: Carefree Awning Support Poles
Living in KS - wind is our friend/enemy - but I found the spiral stakes work well in most soil types - I picked this kit up off of Amazon - Camco 42593 Awning Anchor Kit with Pull Tension Strap The one think I found with the springs, they will allow the awning to lift the poles off the ground slightly in strong winds, but not enough to allow the awning to be damaged. In what I hope is the final chapter of this story, I called the manufacturer and recounted my story to a...

Re: Ultra-Fab Phoenix 4000 tongue jack
Hi Chris - Not sure if you ever straightened out the retraction issue on your jack. I was wondering if calibrating it might get it working correctly. On the 3rd page of the instruction manual there is a section "CALIBRATION METHOD TO SET TRAVEL LIMITS" https://ultra-fab.com/wp-conte...RUCTIONS-r051519.pdf Maybe that might help get it to fully retract?
