On our recent 7 day trip we decided to use our front cargo carrier with storage box. Since the weather was going to be hot I had some concerns about engine and transmission temps. My truck doesn't have a trans temp gauge so I invested in a...

Re: WeBoost (Wilson Electronics) Drive 4GM Cell Signal Booster
Wow!! This unit is literally priceless. I used it in the Pisgah national forest (Camping here: https://goo.gl/maps/5uNX8QPbxxH2 ) and the Ocala national forest recently. I had 0 bars on either phone in Pisgah [My wife has Verizon/ I have Google Fi]. Using the booster I had 4 bars, 3g with US Cellular (This is a Google FI Carrier). In the middle of the night we had a freak windstorm that luckily I was able to pull up radar for from my phone, so I knew exactly how bad it was going to be. I was...

Re: Mount n lock safety struts
Here you go. There are 5 struts that are sandwiched together with the frame (3 on bottom & 2 on top of the bumper). This makes the attachment very strong and an integral part of the frame. The total weight of the bikes and the carrier are approximately 120 to 125 lbs. I remove the batteries from the bikes when traveling.

Re: Trinova Plastic and Trim Restorer (...as well as trailer frames!)
I used a similar product to remove chalking from epoxy paint on our boat years ago. It seemed to last about two months - but it looked great! Yes, this is a bit more HD than hazing, unfortunately. On the "bright" side, the converter is also a primer that leaves the metal a semi gloss black - when done correctly. So far, I've done the tire carrier and when the weather improves, I'll start at the back bumper and work forward.

Re: Blackstone 17" review and question
I have the 22 inch Blackstone and don't camp without it. I got a generic cover as I noted above and bought my Blackstone at Wal Mart. Got the griddle, cover, stand as one package. Best price around and on sale, $143.00 if I remember correctly. Bought the carrier bag, long propane hose to connect to TT and Blackstone utensils and I'm all set. This past trip saw a great dinner of Filet Mignon, grilled onions, mushrooms, shredded potatoes and garlic toast......heaven from the Blackstone.
