Re: 2017 MWTCF Rally / Reunion
We are new Lance owners ....a trailer, model 1985 as well as new LOA members. Is this rally strictly for Lance slide-in truck campers or any Lance product? We have camped several times at the Amana Colonies park. A great place for a rally. Chuck & Jane

Re: 2017 MWTCF Rally / Reunion
Hi there, Our Group is open to all. All RV types. We started out as just TC's, but some in our group do to circumstances have changed RV's, and still wanted to participate in our events. Well we couldn't say no, so we added the Friends (to include all rv's) We to have changed Rv's so it only seem like the right thing to do. You are more than welcome to come to the 2017 Summer RAlly. Let us know if your interested. Go to the Present Rallies section to check out the details, or to our webpage.

Re: More Flying Flag Info
Hello all, we ordered a 2375 TT but won't get it until March of 2018. Would it be possible to come to this event on Saturday to meet a few LOA members, and see a few of the trailers? We don't live far and were thinking about driving up just for the day. Let us know if this request is acceptable. Thanks

Re: More Flying Flag Info
We attended our first rally before we had our trailer. It was great, and the people were very helpful. BTW, there is another thread on this that has 10 pages of messages. I hope we will see you there.

Pretty casual group, low on rules! Come on out and hang. Search for the thread that is called "Lance Rally Happening - Flying Flags - Buellton, CA Nov 10 - 13 2017"

Sorry that I have been away for a bit, but thanks for all the feedback. Now that we understand we can attend the Flying Flags rally on Saturday, do we need to register somewhere or can we just pay to get in for the day when we get there?

Re: Bulliards Beach Small Gathering
So I have a brand new Fantastic Vent with all hardware (white) that I can't use. I do not have the patience, or desire, to fashion some brackets for it to mount it like a Maxx Air cover, and I'm not going to drill into the roof. The shipping on it back to CW is more than it's worth. I regret not doing the research, and thinking about the fact that Lance clamps the Fantastics in. Anyhow, if anyone attending this soiree has any interest in it, let me know and I'll bring it. See ya'll soon.

Re: Bulliards Beach Small Gathering
BBD, they don't have to screw to the roof. When I did mine I made aluminum angle brackets and attached them to the vertical section of the fan housing. It's a bit more work but do able! Give it a second thought! To bad we had to cancel or we could have installed it! Maybe someone will help you. Good luck BobnRobin

Re: Bulliards Beach Small Gathering
BBD, Attached is a video on the install of the cover, the only thing is, DON'T drill holes in the top as shown in the video. What you have to do, is go inside your trailer and drop the inside shroud to get to the ends of the bracket bolts. You may need an assistant inside to put lock washers and nuts on the bolt ends. May want to add a dab of (none perminent) glue to prevent nuts from backing off. Then put inter shroud backup and you're done! Easy? < https://youtu.be/4UQSR6wMehE >

After attending SCIO, we're hoping to attend a day or two or three prior to heading back east. I've not yet attempted to reserve a site.

Re: Washington In Spring Escape - The WISE rally
there is a nice boat launch there @Capt PJ . BOATING FEATURES Located in Grant County on Potholes Reservoir, the park offers four watercraft launches and 60 feet of dock. Water levels in O'Sullivan Reservoir (Potholes Reservoir) fluctuate dramatically from spring to fall. Launching a boat at a state park requires one of the following: An annual launch permit (Natural Investment Permit); or An annual Discover Pass and a daily launch permit; or A one-day Discover Pass and a daily launch...

Seems they shifted us to the middle gold row. That is good though since site 60 (where I am now going to be) has a wider space avail. I can bring my two pop up tents and we will have a place to gather!

Re: Rally on Vancouver Island!!
If you have a month on Vancouver Island make sure you take in Tofino and the surrounding area. If you plan to camp in Tofino get your reservations in now. We stay at Crystal Cove when ever we RV in Tofino. Go to < https://www.crystalcove.ca > Most RV parks in the area are booking already and as this is the first year highway 4 will not be under construction the place will be hopping. If you like to eat, try the Schooner Restaurant and book it once you have a campsite booked. We always...

I am looking forward to this! It has been a bit and I have not had a rally for almost a year now. This will be the first one on Vancouver Island (as far as I know!) and will be a great place to gather the troops. Come on up to the island!

It will be our first Lance Rally and only 50+ Km's (30+miles) from home. We will either start our trip or finish it at Rathtrevor Provincial Park if we can get a reservation.

Re: Rally on Vancouver Island!!
You are coming to the right place for salt water activities. You might consider booking a few things well ahead of your departure. It is looking to be a very busy holiday season on Vancouver Island. On another topic. Coming up the I-5 though Bellingham and Blaine can be a driving nightmare. Consider peeling off the I-5 at Olympia and head to Port Angeles. The Black Ball Ferry MV Coho take you onto Vancouver Island and an easy drive up the highway to Parksville and all points north and West.

Re: Rally on Vancouver Island!!
We have a month reserved on the island. Currently watching the ferry schedule and available booking dates. They must be released 5-6 months out??

Re: Rally on Vancouver Island!!
The BC ferries are the way to go. They have seasonal changes (usually more sailings in the summer months) but typically the schedule is there already...you can get a reduced fare if you travel early in the am or late at night since those sailings are typically less full. They charge by the foot and will get out of the booth with their measure to see how long your rig is. It can be pricey but well worth it as the island is a beautiful place to be!

Re: Rally on Vancouver Island!!
I enjoy the MV Coho for two reasons: 1. you avoid the customs at the border as customs is cleared prior to boarding in the Coho parking lot. 2. you miss the high stress driving through Seattle. Driving to Port Angeles is on a curvy but scenic drive with lots of spots to stop and relax.

Re: Rally on Vancouver Island!!
Looks like BC ferries to the Island from Vancouver and CoHo back to Port Angeles, just cant book online yet. Seems to have multiple times on the schedules both directions. The fare is easier to accept when spending 30+ days on the island. 2/23/23 Kept an eye on the Ferries and we now have a boat ride reservations to and from the Island.
