When I ordered our new truck last year, I kept things simple. I didn't order a big radio with navigation and cameras and such. I did however want a way to hold my phone up for navigation and music streaming purposes. After much looking I decided on Bulletpoint products.

I purchased a Rubigrid system for our Ram 5500, I used it on our trip last fall and I love it. It is a ball and socket system and it works great. The phone is in the perfect position for me to access whatever I need to do. It is very close, yet not too close as to get in the way. It is also modular, so you can put other mounts on it, such as a tablet or a 2 way radio. It will accommodate up to 3 mounts at once. I liked it so much that I purchased a second one for our Jeep toad. They are custom designed to use factory hardware to mount them, no modifications.

I have only found 2 drawbacks.

1. They are pricey, but they are metal and carbon fiber. Quality built.

2. The one in our Ram vibrated to much on bad roads, a simple wood shim took care of this problem.

So if you are looking at a dash mount phone or whatever holder, take a look at these.
