We've been using the Good Sam GPS for over a month now. Haven't used it yet for an RV trip (not before April of this year), but we did take it with us to Atlanta, GA over Christmas. So far, we're very pleased with it. We've been configuring it for the points of interest (gas stations, restaurants, etc.) we want it to display while we're on the road. We have used the one in the OP for years. Mostly out in the desert when we don't want to eat up the battery with the furnace blower at night. Crack a window and a vent and all is good. One of my projects is to plumb it to the trailer LP so I don't have to carry the bottles.

You are better off if you bring water from home, because most water here is full on minerals! And purified water cost $0.25/ga. It's up to you. The only grade to pull is Chiriaco out of Indio after that it's flat. Good luck BobnRobin

I to have thought about a permanent install. You could put a T in the discharge pipe and plumb a 1-1/2''hose into the pump, or install a hose on an end cap.My pump is a regular macerator I used on a fifth wheel trailer that I fitted with the bayonet fitting. It isn't on my to do list though.
