Frank - It actually makes sense now that I have spent some time with this. Below are 4 pictures - all of the passenger side rear tire . Notice that the truck unloaded has a smaller gap behind the tire (picture #1) as opposed to the front of the tire (picture #2). So having 2 wedges (1/2") behind the tire (picture #3) and 3 wedges (3/4") in front of the tire (picture #4) seems more natural for our TV/TT combo.

Nutman you raise a good issue. I actually have a small junction box on my roof for this purpose, I got two mending rods and screwed them in and then put a little silicone behind them to hold them away from the junction box, then I just slide the antenna into this gap which holds it securely in place. When I stop somewhere I open my sky light, stand up on the bed, and drop it into the holder. When I leave somewhere, I reverse the process - that way it's not sticking out way above my camper on...

The receptacles are 20 amp. Page 12 of the manual.(or look at the plug-NEMA 20 amp ) No need for the companion unless you are paralleling 2 generators or like the twistlok 30 amp plug.
