Honda EU2000i Generator Review
I recently rented one from Home Depot despite the negative attitude of the rental guy (that it wouldn't run my 2014 9k A/C) HA! I did my research and guess what, it worked beautifully! Easy to start (one tug) and worked almost silently. The thing is you don't start it in ECO MODE, full on power is what you need. Now the newer 9k units might be a little more touchy as Coleman-Mach has made changes to the 9k, so that's iffy. If you have a newer model 9k, I'd rent one and see how it runs. For...

The receptacles are 20 amp. Page 12 of the manual.(or look at the plug-NEMA 20 amp ) No need for the companion unless you are paralleling 2 generators or like the twistlok 30 amp plug.

The only way OnStar works (unless something has changed) is if you have cell service. No bars, no emergency help. Sent from my iPhone

The answer is - yes. Probably not without a second party APP, like Life 360. Life 360 is one fee for your family members versus per car for OnStar. The advantages to Life 360 and other APPs like it are: that it is on your phone (it goes with you to any car (others you own, friend's, rental and etc.) and it tracks you and your family members phones (you know where your phone is, you know how far away your family member that is meeting you is, you know where your spouse is inside the big store...
