We got a Camp Chef Ranger II Blind Stove . It's fantastic. Except that if it gets in any way wet, it starts to rust. We contacted Camp Chef, who blew us off about it. So, we used a scrubber to get rid of the rust and some high temperature spray paint. So far, so good. But beware...

I looked at the Yukon and was concerned about the weight. It is a very nice system when you incorporate the accessories. I eventually bought the Ranger II for our rig and it fits nicely in the corner of our 2285 slide. The Ranger II at 17 lbs, less than half the Yukon's weight, isn't a lightweight but I know the blind stove works well for it's planned use. I can't say I've needed more than it's 34,000 BTU output and I hope I'll say the same when family starts camping with us. I agree that...

Just a preliminary review, only had it for 3 days so far... Got an RSI Smartcap installed on my F-150 this week. The Smartcap is a canopy manufactured in South Africa. Pros: Made of stainless steel, not fiberglass. Custom version available for many newer truck models. Weighs less than fiberglass, ~200 lbs. I’m at the step ladder stage and really enjoy the ambiance of light through the front window, even if filtered through the day time blind.
