Thanks to Galvanizd for posting this. We have found that during fire restriction times we were still able to use our portable fire pit with lava rock and propane. Not sure if that will be allowed given the extreme dry conditions right now. Hope for rain before June 6-12 rolls around. Really looking forward to meeting everyone! We would like to plan a nightly happy hour at 5:30pm, at out site 117. This gives everyone time to eat then come relax for an hour or two with their favorite beverage.

May sound funny, but I have to go to this event. I used to live and went to elementary school in Potrero. Back then it was a 1 room school house and my Mom was the Postmaster in Potrero back then. There's also a Historic Train ride in Campo, about 9 miles to the east, that I believe still travels to the top of the Carrizo Gorge. I arrived at the Duke Point terminal at 8:45 only to be told they were ticketing for the 3:15 sailing (with possible wait for the 5:45). But fortunately they were wrong in my favor. I nearly made the 10:15 and did make the 12:45 sailing. I am now home safe and sound. It was awesome meeting everyone and I want to join the chorus thanking Kelly for a wonderful rally.
