B-D RV Battery Lock (12-volt)

B-D RV Battery Lock: http://www.b-drvbatterylock.com/   Even though I/we have never ever had an issue with a battery "walking away" in the 15+ years that we have been trailer camping I have been intrigued whenever I would see this simple battery...

Re: Torklift Lower StableLoads on a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 towing a Lance 1575

Giles - No WDH/sway control with our small/light properly loaded/balanced 1575. Just the coupler on the ball. I did not have to change the ball height. The StableLoads when installed correctly keep the rear end at about the same height when there is nothing hitched up. You are ALWAYS welcome to stop by and see my setup in person. If you have any questions fire away. Does your truck already have the silly factory circular stops installed? If so, you won't need to drill anything which is a...

Frank - You have StableLoads?! I'm surprised that Torklift didn't know that. I (& they) thought that I was the first non-TC LOA'er to use them. Awesome! I am glad to hear about your results and tips. And I'm glad to know that I'm on the right track with planning to use the electric tongue jack...

Forgot to mention - I tried Frank's trick today and extended the tongue jack with the coupler clamped to the ball. This easily raised the rear end of the truck enough to engage the StableLoads. The entire process took 2 minutes.

Re: Big E's List Of Recommended Camping Stuff

I like the list and the additions later on. The lego blocks are good i have used mine well so much so I have ruined two...have a new stack now. Now when it comes to toilet stuff, good old Costco TP works well, and i have not used a chem for at least 5 or 6 years...just have not had the need. Extra cost and got to carry it someplace and hope it doesn't spill, ever tried to clean up the blue stain after it dries? Why gloves, just wash your hands! it is your stuff, why worry! I carry electrical...

Re: BOLT Receiver Lock

Yep, LOVE these! I have one for the coupler, draw bar, padlock on a long cable, and a coiled one. I like not having a ton more keys to keep track of, and the quality seems very good.
