We are weeks outta Az, Utah & Co. Presently outside Santa Fe NM till Sunday morning when we head east. Thanks for the notifications! Fire warning here too in NM. Not even supposed to be smoking outdoors. Guess those hand rolled Dominicans in my "travel humidor" will have to wait!

We're reserved for the 16th and we'll do our best! Weather report for the Texas/Oklahoma panhandle area where we are is 3" of SNOW over the weekend! So we're not sure what kind of cripple this will put in our travel schedule. I think we have wiggle room. Happy Campers BobnRobin

We're 2nd after Serge & Kelly! It took us close to 9 hours to get home. We has a great time meeting everyone! Thank you to Serge & Kelly for showing us how to cook with Dutch ovens. Your pineapple upside-down cake was delicious! And a huge thanks to Chuck & Patti for organizing the rally! Travel safe and Happy Trails...we'll see some of you next month in Lancaster at the Lance Factory Tour & BBQ! Cheers!

Coastie ·
My wife, daughter, bulldog, and I will be arriving Thursday February 26th. My wife and I are going to renew our wedding vows (35 years) at 5:30pm. It's part of the attempt to break the world record of 1,087 couples renewing their vows at the same time. We'll be towing a rented 23' Pacific Coachworks Mighty Lite travel trailer with our 2014 Toyota 4Runner. Plan on finalizing Lance 1985 options at seminars. Still undecided on weight distributing hitch, satellite TV antenna, etc. Stop by if in area!

Re: Ocean Grove 2nd Annual Lance Camper Rally

CamperKay ·
Always a good time when we can meet other Lance owners and talk everything Lance. We are in the planning stage of our travel adventures in 2017, our first year of retirement. This Lance Rally gives us a good time line for planning spring travel. We have had great times at previous T@B rallies. We were welcomed in our Lance after we sold T@BbyKay. We love our Lance 2285. Cool and comfortable. We live on the Gulf Coast and this is our best chance to catch a Lance Rally in 2017. We rarely see...

We have already registered. I think if you call Ocean Grove RV Resort in St. Augustine, where the rally is held, and tell them that you want to register, they will accommodate you. Good Luck! MaryAnn

Thanks for the info. Do you travel with water tank full and fill at Quartzite? Thanks...sorry for all of the questions. First time at Quartzite and boondocking. that option. One final "dumb" question, do you travel with

Whatever you are comfortable with the weight full of water, what rig you have and how far you are traveling with access to good water before arriving are just some of the questions you can think about. The water in Quartzite at the Pit Stop was good and last year cost $4.00 to fill your tank. There is also metered water to fill jugs last year was 25 cents a gallon or 5 gallons for a buck. We have traveled both full of fresh and with limited quantities, we just factor in all the particular...

Sad to say we will miss you all this year. The cost of diesel has become prohibitive to travel from western Arizona. The rest of you enjoy and post pics! DCT (Dave & Carol)

My initial travel plans preclude us for attending the LOA ECR again this year. Although we do not normally travel interstate highways, our general direction as per Google Maps is https://goo.gl/maps/2tpFp3nGKpHAMHVp9 From NH, we may go up into ME and then Nova Scotia. One of my planed stops includes the MWTC&F rally in MO the last week of July. It's probly been five years since we've seen those friends.

Re: Rally on Vancouver Island!!

SerKel ·
The BC ferries are the way to go. They have seasonal changes (usually more sailings in the summer months) but typically the schedule is there already...you can get a reduced fare if you travel early in the am or late at night since those sailings are typically less full. They charge by the foot and will get out of the booth with their measure to see how long your rig is. It can be pricey but well worth it as the island is a beautiful place to be!

❤️ the BC Ferries. They do charge by the foot. Meaning from the front bumper of your TV to the back bumper (or ladder) of your TT. Can be kinda expensive, but they treat you well and have cafeteria on board, and some have cabins and movie theaters. Check out their other sailings as well. We took a circle ferry on the Sunshine Coast and island hopped from one port to another, camping at the Provincial Parks along the way. At one campground we were the only ones on the dock on the lake. We...

Hwy 4 travel was unevenful Sunday. Now hoping it is fully opened on Friday for return to Victoria and ferry. The campground at the golf course is actually great! No complaints. Rainforest visit today. Ucluelet and Wild Pacific Trail tomorrow.
