Sites 28 & 29 are right next to each other and in an open area. The table at site 29 also is not chained down so we may be able to move it if needed. Between the two fire pits in that area we should be good or if we move the table we could probably get around the one in site 29.

Hello, My husband & I just purchased our Lance Camper 1191 this weekend and have recently become LOA members! This forum stuff is all new to me, but I'll give it a shot! Anyways, I was excited to see that there will be a rally in January 2014 at Lake Solano Park.. this is great because it's near where we live! Wow, all I can say is what a great group of people!! I had the pleasure of spending a night fireside at Pismo with this wonderful group and just got done telling Jack Cole (Lance President), how gracious and fun they were to hang with. I brought the all new 1052 with the ultraDECKplus bumper and think engunir might want to add this model to his Lance fleet! There are only a couple of sites left in the entire park, if you have any interest I’d get it booked pretty soon, within the next few days. If you miss getting in you’ll have to watch the reservation site daily, they will get cancellations once in a while...

Lew, It appears we have a reservation conflict. I made a reservation for site #116 on Dec.10th arriving Thu June 7, departing Wed Jun 13 and have written confirmation from recreation.gov

Thought about coming up on the maiden voyage of our new 1475, but the link for "reservations", only shows walk up sites, there is no reservation ability. Can't afford to show up on a Friday night and find the place full. Enjoy, maybe we can catch the group next time.

Don't miss out on a chance to share your new trailer and absorb a lot of info from other Lance owners! Come up a bit early (like in the previous posting) and get yourself a site for the weekend. It's a great place to "break in" your new trailer!

Go to this website that has a map of the other camps in the area. While its not with the group its not that far to drive over and spend the days and evenings. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recare...d=80835&actid=29 This is a list of the other nearby camps which are on the map. Sinkhole - Rim - Spillway - Mogollon - Crook In addition there are many areas where you can camp in a "Dispersed" area for free. Contact me if you want or need more information.

Bummer, things always come up when you least expect it. My wife and I go up every month for about 5 days starting on this trip in June. It’s how we beat the heat in Phoenix... i’ll Post our next trip this weekend. Since it is so close to the valley the sites get booked up quickly. Fall could be a really nice trip with the colores changing. These was someone who was coming up and didn’t have a reservation. I would hook up with them and see if they can reserve it just after you cancel. Think...

Wow, I’m sitting here on the last night of the Woods Canyon Lake trip and thinking I don’t want to go back the the valley. Met some truly great people, laughed a lot, got a lot of photos to be posed here. Thanks to everyone that made the trip. Without all of you the memories wouldn’t be the same. We had a few windy days but the temps at night were great and not too hot during the day. Loved, loved, loved the 6pm happy hour! What a great time. Thanks, Roger Also, I know I paid for the two nights early on (2/19) but have been in Alaska since then and were unable to select a space number. Am I still going to be able to get a FHU site? Thx!

Wow! Cannot believe how quickly all the spots were taken. This will be my first trip and I am looking forward to it. I registered for two sites in the dry camping section for Thursday and Friday and for two full sites for Saturday. We will take what we can get this year and will be quicker next year! Please let us know if there is a cancellation and we might get full hookups.

Ok, the factory visit is starting to look good. But it looks like I'm a few months late. I saw if you're dry camping you can park anywhere on the site...really! There's got to be more information than that, having to move your rig because of... UPDATE: We sign up for two nights of Dry camping, I will be seeking A LOT of information prior to this trip. Never done dry camping , going to try that next month, and I will seeking some hard learned knowledge.

Marcia and I are traveling toward the Mid West Truck Camper Rally this year and then headed across Canada toward Maine this year prior to heading home. We hope to attend a Lance factory tour next year.

We're 2nd after Serge & Kelly! It took us close to 9 hours to get home. We has a great time meeting everyone! Thank you to Serge & Kelly for showing us how to cook with Dutch ovens. Your pineapple upside-down cake was delicious! And a huge thanks to Chuck & Patti for organizing the rally!
