I had this same model on both my 2016 and now my 2021 Ram 1500. I used a vice and a couple pieces of plywood to get the bags to compress and then used the zip ties. Works good. Happy with how they work and the price was good. 40 to 42 psi is tops for me towing my 2285

Wow great idea about using a vice and wood blocks to compress the bags. We have essentially the same rig. Thanks for the confirmation that 40 psi is the “right” pressure.
