Re: 2014 Pismo Beach Rally - 4/3/2014 - 4/8/2014

WoodGlue ·
Hi Engunir, The rally will probably only have Lance owners and anyone else who is interested in Lance are always welcome to stop by or camp with us! We don't have any vendors scheduled, but they're always welcome. Our knowledge base is pretty experienced, so if you or any attendees have any questions we are always there to answer any questions. To date, we have a whale watching trip planned and then there are always wine tasting trips, potluck dinners and such. We also plan on driving at...

Re: Princess Craft Truck Camper Rally, April 6-9, 2017

Doug, aka Atchafalaya Man ·
The PC rally is open to anyone who is interested, regardless of ownership or type of RV or membership in any group. Some don't even have a camper. The Princess Craft owners just love TCs and thus the TC oriented rally. Last year, we ended up with about a dozen LOA members there. It is a party with lots of other brand and size campers there. One of the events is 'open house' afternoon where owners allow groups to view their mods and camper layouts. It's almost worth going just for that,...

Wow, sorry to hear that... I'm surprised about Tom's, we have been going there for years and they always take care of us. I would think warranty work no matter where the rig came from would not be an issue! I'll have to find out what their policy is. CALL ME 480-250-5332 Got 2 good repair companies here in the valley that work on Lance and do warranty repairs. Tom's uses them also when they get slammed with work. 1st choice Timothy at Primitive RV 602-446-3576 2nd choice Ben 480-276-0906

Re: 2017 MWTCF Midwest Barn Party

SerKel ·
My arrival alone might change to our arrival a couple days later. Yesterday, while ripping a short piece of 2x6 for a small project, my fingers came to close to the table saw blade. There were some nerves, ligaments, small arteries severed. So right now I am all bandaged up and feeling good with my friend Percocet. There is still 2 1/2 weeks before the barn party. So, I am hoping that I will be in better shape than I am now, especially if I have to manhandle some 2X6 to put under the rig so...

Re: Lance Factory Tour and BBQ Rally

SerKel ·
Ok, the factory visit is starting to look good. But it looks like I'm a few months late. I saw if you're dry camping you can park anywhere on the site...really! There's got to be more information than that, having to move your rig because of... UPDATE: We sign up for two nights of Dry camping, I will be seeking A LOT of information prior to this trip. Never done dry camping , going to try that next month, and I will seeking some hard learned knowledge.

Hi Roberta, In all likelihood, we will have room for you. There are 4 or 5 people I haven't heard from in awhile, and who haven't paid the deposit that's due to Flying Flags in 2 days, so I think by next week, I'll have some openings. What would be your arrival and departure dates? What kind of rig do you have?

Notvaporlocked ·
Whatever you are comfortable with the weight full of water, what rig you have and how far you are traveling with access to good water before arriving are just some of the questions you can think about. The water in Quartzite at the Pit Stop was good and last year cost $4.00 to fill your tank. There is also metered water to fill jugs last year was 25 cents a gallon or 5 gallons for a buck. We have traveled both full of fresh and with limited quantities, we just factor in all the particular...

Jackalope, Please accept my apology for not seeing your post earlier. I have watched the 1st Annual Great Plains Gathering thread daily, but have forgotten to watch this one. Most of the activity is on that thread. Anyway, I am glad you were able to snag that spot, and I'm looking forward to seeing you there. You may want to read what is on that thread if you have the time. It is quite lengthy. Here is a recap of the events and instructions. It's fairly loosely organized. Thursday Sept. 21:...

Re: Rally on Vancouver Island!!

SerKel ·
The BC ferries are the way to go. They have seasonal changes (usually more sailings in the summer months) but typically the schedule is there already...you can get a reduced fare if you travel early in the am or late at night since those sailings are typically less full. They charge by the foot and will get out of the booth with their measure to see how long your rig is. It can be pricey but well worth it as the island is a beautiful place to be!

Re: Rally on Vancouver Island!!

❤️ the BC Ferries. They do charge by the foot. Meaning from the front bumper of your TV to the back bumper (or ladder) of your TT. Can be kinda expensive, but they treat you well and have cafeteria on board, and some have cabins and movie theaters. Check out their other sailings as well. We took a circle ferry on the Sunshine Coast and island hopped from one port to another, camping at the Provincial Parks along the way. At one campground we were the only ones on the dock on the lake. We...
