B-D RV Battery Lock (12-volt)

B-D RV Battery Lock: http://www.b-drvbatterylock.com/   Even though I/we have never ever had an issue with a battery "walking away" in the 15+ years that we have been trailer camping I have been intrigued whenever I would see this simple battery...

TST TPMS New and Improved Wide Screen Color Monitor

R&V Spiker ·
I just received my TST Wide Screen color monitor yesterday and got it up and running on the bench. Wow! The display is real nice with larger digits and added color. However, I do have a few issues I'd like to report. The new monitor is now powered by a 5 volt mini plug just like what one uses for their smart phone (Android, not Apple). This presents a challenge as I had the previous 12 volt monochrome monitor's power cord hard wired into the overhead console in my Tundra which was a nice...

Re: B-D RV Battery Lock (12-volt)

We just returned from a 2-night dry camping trip. Since it was only 2 nights I decided to go with our puny group 24 battery that came with the 1575 (we rarely use it and instead use a group 29 battery almost always). The group 24 (from our dealer) came with a crappy (group 24) battery box that is square. I wasn't sure if the battery lock would work with this box, but it did (a loose fit, but secure "enough") so I took a couple of pictures. You can also see that the 2 battery cables & the...

Re: Garmin nuvi 2797LMT

Thanks, Mike, for the excellent review. I've been considering one of these but have been unable to get an answer to a question I have. Hopefully you can help me. When traveling in unfamiliar territory, I like to have the map showing. No destination is entered, just like to see where we are on the map as we move along. Additionally, the map must have a scale on the screen. Does the Nuvi 2797 provide this? Thanks, Bruce

Bruce, The map can be selected even when there is no destination entered. As for a scale not sure what you are looking for exactly, you may want to check the Garmin Forum at http://forums.gpsreview.net/ca...um-garmin-nuvi-forum Mike Originally Posted by Bruce H.: Thanks, Mike, for the excellent review. After three months with the Garmin 2797 I thought a posting of an updated review would be helpful. I did receive a replacement from Garmin back in December which has been functioning correctly with the correct time. We have been using it extensively for the last three months and am very satisfied with the choice of the 2797LMT. Some of the major features we like with this unit are: School zone notification Traffic reroute Smartphone link Active lane guidance Voice activation Map selection...

Re: Clam Six Pack 1660 Mag Screen Tent (or the Worlds easiest/fastest screen room)

Leemom3 ·
Looks good - so glad this thread has resurfaced. How easy is it to put away by one (short) person? And can one (short) person reach up to push up the roof center piece? One other question: how long is the storage bag? Will it fit across the width of the cab back seat of the truck? Or would it have to be stored along the center aisle of the TC during transit? Thanks.

Missed part of the question, the Clam is a piece of cake for one (short) person to take down. My only suggestion would be to watch a couple of youtube videos to see how it's done (the first move is crucial)
