Camco SunShield™ Reflective Door and Window Covers

HavaBrew22 ·
From the Manufacturer: Protect the interior of your coach from UV rays and assist with temperature control. Air-filled cells encapsulated in lightweight, flexible polypropylene between two layers of reflective film. Collapses for storage and attaches with hook and loop fasteners for simple installation. My Experience : I bought the door window covers (Part #45167). I have two doors in my 2017 2185 so I bought two. I like the trailer really dark when I sleep and the two doors and the opaque...

Re: Folding Bikes

Rob&Mary ·
We have 2 rather unique VeloMini electric folding bikes. They have 3 speeds and can be peddled like a normal bike, or you can push a button to turn on the small motor and engage something called peddle assist which adds power to your peddling (especially nice when going up a steep hill), or you can simply then stop peddling and twist the right hand grip to engage the motor and just doodle along. The bikes will go ~12 miles in that manner at a top speed of 12 mph. They are a kick to ride, and...

I bought a folding ebike that isn't "officially" released in the US. It's a Xiaomi QiCycle, and is $800 on Amazon. I've only test ridden it, but so far so good. I'll be using it a lot over the next five days. No throttle-only, but good pedal assist, and three speed internal hub gearing. Battery is in the tube, and has built in front and rear lights.

Re: Chemical Guys - TORQ Foam Cannon & Honeydew Snow Foam Wash

HavaBrew22 ·
I use another Chemical Guys product to assist in drying. It's called Chemical Guys After Wash . "Chemical Guys After Wash is an advanced moisturizer that aids the drying process. The innovative drying aid repels water, adds lubrication, and creates a streak-free shine when drying any vehicle." This stuff is great. I spray it on an entire side and the water beads off. It also lubricates the outside of the trailer so that you will not scratch it when using towels to dry. I only use microfiber...

Re: Micro-Air Easy Start--install and 2000 watt Generator

Installed my ez start on my camper. Was not so ez ------ to install. But glad I did. Couldnt get cover off my a/c bolt stripped in. It was a good investment. Works just fine. I draw around 1250 watts (Depending on the tempature outside) in the 90's running it and it ramps up and never spikes . Here are some pictures if lance would not of stripped the bolt in sideways probably had done in couple hours not a couple of days! Had to find bolt instert to put in the whole that was stripped. Ran...

You just illustrated why I recommend a Hybrid or Power Assist Inverter/Charger. And you are lucky to have a 20 amp garage circuit; a lot are only 15 amps. I always use the example of visiting a friend and plugging into his garage circuit. I turn it down to cap the input at 14 amps and let the inverter and solar do the rest.

Step Assist

Scot L ·
For those of you who might be vertically challenged (like me) or old (like me), you might want to check this item out to ease the challenge of getting into and out of the bed of your pickup. It's called a step assist. I purchased the TrekStep from Bestop. As you can see from the pictures, it fits pretty snug to the bottom of the bumper, drops down with a bump from your foot and retracts with said bump from foot. It lines up outside of the outer edge of the tailgate, so you can step up onto...

Airlift 1000 HD Install and Review

JonathanC ·
I know there has been some mixed opinions about Airlift 1000 HD air bags on this forum. A little background. I have a 2018 Ram 1500 4x4 Big Horn. Rams ride darn near like a car however, I believe one reason for that is Rams have coil springs on the rear vs. leaf springs. So with that comfort comes a little trade off of “firmness” when towing. I have a e2 Equalizer trunion WDH professionally installed and while towing my 2015 2295 I still felt the rear suspension was a little soft and had...

Re: 2013 Lance 2385

KS Farm Girl ·
Our 1885 is listed as a 2014, but was built in 2013. Our slide very likely is the same as your 2385. What are you needing to know? We did have to have the slide bolted into the wall as it had an issue with the frame pulling away from the outer wall. We did lighten the load in the drawers to less than 50 lbs each, which is what Lance recommends, this includes the outer storage area. Otherwise, we haven't had problems with it. Attached is Lance's 2013 brochure that may give you some info.

I watched the video also and encourage you to keep trying and use a pry tool to assist if necessary. I have the older model and after the screws (no knob on mine) are out I have to pull aggressively like the person in the video to release the plastic tabs that snap the cover into place.

Re: E- Bikes on the Horizon?

JCB3 ·
We have purchased Pedego electric bicycles. They are heavy. I got the Interceptor Platinum. It weighs 58 lbs and the batter is an additional 9 lbs. Wife got the Boomerang Platinum that comes in a bit lighter at 53 lbs. We have only ridden them around town at home but have already put more than 100 miles on them since purchasing in January. We are in flat Florida, and we pedal using their "assist" mode. Haven't figured out how to travel with these monsters yet. Willl probably have to get...

Great report, Mike! Yeah, I can see riding into a 25 mph headwind would require some extra “juice”! 💨 🚴 I’ve started a new thread where we can discuss trails and experiences: https://community.lanceowners....c/617765965228876402 Safe travels, Jim / crewzer

2 weeks ago we rode the bike trail around the city of Sioux Falls SD, 22.5 miles it was amazing. We stayed in pedal assist 1 for about half of the ride, but when we got out into the open we were forced to use the juice. There was a 25mph sustained wind that day and we had a headwind and a crosswind for about a third of the ride. We are pretty flat for the most part where we live so brakes haven't been an issue yet. But thanks to you Jim they will be closely watched. Your brake upgrade is...
