Recently purchased a Hutch Mountain propane conversion kit for one of our two Honda gens. Anxious to install and gauge performance. Used one of two gens during a trip to Grand Canyon this past summer. Camping at higher elevations we found we did not need the 2nd gen since no A/C was necessary. We also use our gens as backup power for our home. We can run critical home circuits on one gen. Being able to tap into our 400 gallon propane heating supply makes this very handy for extended power...

After repeated attempts to get some sort of special LOA pricing arranged with Mike Benson and no follow up on his end, I've come to the conclusion that he's either too busy or just doesn't want to deal with it. For those who would like to have one of these upgraded displays and not pay full price, I would suggest you call TST direct and tell them you're a Lance Owners of America member and would like the same price you gave to Randy Spiker ($79.00). See what they say. I REALLY like mine.

HAMSTERS!!!!! Great install report, Mike! Nice to see the new-generation 1575 has a wide battery bracket/tray to accommodate Torklift's PAS box. Much simpler to deal with than our first-gen. 1985!!! [slightly too narrow and close to the nose - req'ing any of several less simple options - see here: Torklift's New Power Armor Solar Battery Box ]. Still curious how and whether these PASes will fit onto the tongues of the other new-gen. Lances, what with the recessed battery tray under the new...
