Hitches & Things Lance Trailer Hitch Cover
Let me start of by saying that I am in no way affiliated with Hitches & Things and do not stand to make $.01 from any sales of this item. I did pay for the design fees for this custom made hitch so that the LOA community could buy a Lance hitch cover. I purchased this from Trevor who is the owner and operator. Per his website, "Hitches & Things is based out of Chehalis, WA. It is a company owned and operated by a disabled veteran who is proud to support a variety of charities across...

Bow to Stern (BTS) Protectant
The following is an unsolicited unpaid product endorsement of Bow to Stern (BTS) Protectant... As mentioned in my prior thread linked below, my plan had been to use BTS in combo with partial coverage (shade cloth) over my Lance 1685 TT to...

Peek Polish
I just wanted to say something about a product made by one of our own members, Robert Peek @Eileen and Robert Peek. Many of you may have picked up a sample pack of Peek Polish at a rally. I'm not sure how many of us have really tried it. I finally did this week, and the results were amazing. A little background: My 2011 trailer was stored for 2 years at a facility under the flight path of John Wayne airport. It was covered pretty well with jet fuel residue. It was also parked between two old...

Re: waxing front of lance trailer
Thanks for the response. I read in the Lance owners manual about not using a rubbing compound of any kind, but mine sure acts like it needs It. I possibly need a better cleaning solution, so I'll try that before adding a wax coat. Thanks

Re: Dometic LP GasChecker (LPGC10)
Yep & Yep mine had no thermo grease and it shelf destructed when I removed it the fourth time. It was the old style w/ a 3 year warranty - They replaced it for me - FREE. Most happy with it.

Re: Dometic LP GasChecker (LPGC10)
Don't know about the newer version. On my older version Mopeka says to apply a very, very thin coat of thermo grease to keep the rubber sensor from sticking to the paint other wise the sensor might stick and get pulled out when removing. Also a good idea to sand most of the paint off where the sensor sticks. Oh, very important..when removing carefully twist the sensor, do not just pull off.

Re: Why you want the Honda EU2200i Companion
The receptacles are 20 amp. Page 12 of the manual.(or look at the plug-NEMA 20 amp ) No need for the companion unless you are paralleling 2 generators or like the twistlok 30 amp plug.

1575 closet organizer
Hi 1575'ers, though we are new to this forum, I have found a wonderful closet organizer. It may be helpful to other Lance owners too, but this one particularly fits the 1575 closet perfectly, scooting inside behind the little electrical chase and filling the space with just about an inch to spare. It hangs off the coat hanger bar so it is an instant installation and can hold up to 60lbs, (the shelves are stiff plastic I believe), according to the item description. The sixth cubbie is...
