Jeff.. I'm stealing your ideas for 30XHS and box.. Did you do anything with the vent holes on top of the box?.. Also, did you install any drain holes in the bottom? Thanks Again, Joe

^^^ Joe, I too stole the suggestion of that Trojan battery for my 1475. The NOCO HM318BKS box I chose (same as BrianV as confirmed with him) fills up that box completely while not having porous vent holes on top to collect water.

I found the unit remote very handy...it takes a few times to get all the functions figured out. Once you know the ones you like and use most often you can almost do it in the dark. the fan is very quiet when running below 60%, but at 100% it sure does evac the stale air. Used the circulator once on the last trip, but figured the heater was doing enuf so why use the battery. The data display on the remote is useful and easy to read. I like the current temp info as well on the display. The...

I used Fantastic Vent fans for years until the MaxxAir came along. IMHO a better product. I love the fact it can be left open in the rain and you don't have to mess with an additional separate cover. Aaron
