I've mounted the OTR antenna to my roof. It's beefy. Probably about 2 feet long. It added maybe 8" clearance to my unit. I'll have to double check the height next time it's on the truck. I'll be testing it in the NC wilderness in a couple weeks. Until then, I ran the antenna wire inside the rear slide and zip tied it to the wall in various places. The upgraded internal antenna doesn't seem to do well with the higher channels, though my phone doesn't operate on them. I'll do a whole test on...
