Re: WeatherTech FloorLiners

Like Nutman I have issues with the passenger side Weathertech staying put in my truck. PJ's truck (Ranger FX4 Lvl II) has a rubber floor so everything slides around so I buy cheap soft rubber matts

Re: Rally In The Valley 2017

@Duncan&Dawn Several people have asked about attending RITV III without camping over the weekend. The schedule of events is posted in the Discussion Topic (click here) and covers Thursday check-in through Sunday mornings departure. If you are not camping, you have to pay the park ranger $6 for a day pass each day you come into the park. Once inside, you would drive to the Group Area A & B campground and check-in at the Ramada in Group A. The Rally fee is $20 and includes a ticket to...

Re: Camp Chef Yukon Double Burner Stove

We got a Camp Chef Ranger II Blind Stove . It's fantastic. Except that if it gets in any way wet, it starts to rust. We contacted Camp Chef, who blew us off about it. So, we used a scrubber to get rid of the rust and some high temperature spray paint. So far, so good. But beware...

I looked at the Yukon and was concerned about the weight. It is a very nice system when you incorporate the accessories. I eventually bought the Ranger II for our rig and it fits nicely in the corner of our 2285 slide. The Ranger II at 17 lbs, less than half the Yukon's weight, isn't a lightweight but I know the blind stove works well for it's planned use. I can't say I've needed more than it's 34,000 BTU output and I hope I'll say the same when family starts camping with us. I agree that...

I've had the Solo Stove Ranger unit for about a year. I got the package that include a carry bag, safety spark screen, and the ring to elevate it. I've used it on the grass in my backyard with absolutely no damage. It's so nice to have a portable fire pit.

Re: E- Bikes on the Horizon?

Love the posts on e-bikes. We bought ours before considering taking them camping... Each weighs 77 lbs (KBO Ranger)- so no bike rack on the back of the Lance. We live in Florida - but so enjoy riding around St Augustine, Fernandina Beach (Fort Clinch) and other areas (O'Leno/High Springs). With my wife's knee replacement, it has given us back some of our youthful fun. Considerations - weight of the bike!! Not only are our bikes heavier than normal, but bulky. I'd go with a much lighter bike...

The Scout sucks. Get the Ranger it’s a much better smoker, and has a much better controller.

I have the ranger and haven't noticed so much smoke coming out of it during warmup (And once it's up to temp there's barely any smoke at all.) I agree if it's belching smoke and going right for a neighbor I'd be shutting it down (I tend to check wind direction before starting it.) But I've noticed the Ranger heats up pretty fast and gets past the smoky stage relatively quickly. With regards to consideration for my neighbors, I would never fire it up at a true RV park (you know, where you...
