Re: B-D RV Battery Lock (12-volt)

SerKel ·
You are so lucky that your battery tray is that far away from the coach. I had arm strong the bracket, and modify the battery box. Now tell the brand name of your battery box, because the ones that I got do not fit very well with the bracket.

It is just leaning there to show the size. It can adjust to lean against the side wall of the coach or the slide out as needed.

Our 1885 is listed as a 2014, but was built in 2013. Our slide very likely is the same as your 2385. What are you needing to know? We did have to have the slide bolted into the wall as it had an issue with the frame pulling away from the outer wall. We did lighten the load in the drawers to less than 50 lbs each, which is what Lance recommends, this includes the outer storage area. Otherwise, we haven't had problems with it. Attached is Lance's 2013 brochure that may give you some info.

@RobertMT, you certainly can use the adapter hose as described. For a Mr Buddy Heater, it's not as easy as you might think or such a good idea. It nice to have something to warm up to when your thermostat is set at 65° F. To warm our coach up faster on a cold morning. To warm up frozen hands. We had temps as low as...

Re: FlameKing 1 LB Refillable Kit

The single use one pound cylinders of propane are really convenient to use, but very costly at just under about $5 each at Walmart. Buying propane in bulk to refill my TC tanks is much, much cheaper, and convinced me to invest in the refillable one pound Flame King cylinders. The Big Buddy heater sips propane compared to the RV furnace. In cold weather camping months where the ambient temperatures are constantly below the low 30°s, I usually use a Big Buddy heater to supplement the furnace...
