A final wrap-up - Towed up and over Donner Pass (7,000+') today with the rig completely loaded (including our 5th wheel chest full of 3 cases of H2O, half a case of ale, generator, gas, etc.... Rock solid! For our truck and TT lower StableLoads are perfect! Here are a few shots taken at the Gold Run rest area near Colfax, CA on I-80 (The Love's semi dwarfs our rig, ha) -

A final final wrap-up - I have left them engaged/in place while we are unhitched for day trips. Definitely a bit stiffer ride, but truly not too bad. It would take less than 3 minutes to disengage all 4 StableLoads, but since the unloaded ride isn't that bad we are keeping them engaged between tows. Great product!

Re: Smarter Tools 2000iQ Generator

Oops, I almost forgot a few other modifications/info that you'll need! 1) Generator Hour Meter Link ( easy mod to make, just wrap the wire around the spark plug wire and secure it well) 2) A nice cover (Yamaha 2000 covers fit perfectly!) 3) Link for the dipstick and magnetic plug 4) A few extra Spark Plugs (these are the correct ones) I also broke my generator in, for 20 hours (not all at once) and then I changed the oil (Yamalube) Don't let the burning credit card scorch yer buttocks! Re: Big E's List Of Recommended Camping Stuff

I will, and do cook bacon, when camping (good bacon, as Jacster will agree )....but I will start the day before I leave, and broil about 3 lb and not totally finish it ,and let it cool and wrap it in a paper towel and put it in a bread bag or zip lock bags and keep in the fridge....then when It's time to start the Genny for a battery boost in the morning, I will Micro some ....cost far less(well maybe not) then buying the pre-cooked, and (but) is usually better. once it is all though I will...

Re: DeeZee Red Label Fifth Wheel Utility Chest (DZ8560WB)

Red Barchetta ·
A final wrap-up - I cannot believe how spacious this 5th wheel chest is! Everything, but a single ice chest fit in the chest and we are on a trip that has us bringing everything, but the kitchen sink. Nothing extra in the TT and nothing at all in the truck cab. 3 cases of H2O, half a case of ale, generator, gas can, step stool, bike helmets, baseball gloves, and on and on. It's like having a trunk in a truck. Weatherproof and lockable as well.
