Re: POO-POURRI Toilet Spray
Jim, I fully understand your view point. But can I assume you use some 'Black Tank' treatment like most of us? We also try too use a minimal amount of water in the bowl, just enough to create a water block to fumes in the tank escaping. Well Poop- Pourri acts as a secondary barrier to control fumes, even with a minimal amount of water and in as much a Very Small amount of Poop Pourri! It's a double down on Black Tank odors! Or a Win-Win odor fighter!! Happy Campers BobnRobin

Re: Roof cleaner for my 1985
There are not exactly the same. But typically, both recommend the same type of cleaners and treatment solutions. If your roof is just slightly dirty, Dawn dish detergent works well and is safe. If you have some stubborn stains, something stronger is required. See my note above for something I found that works really well. The Starbrite Extreme Clean product is safe for all membrane roofs (IMO)

Unique Tank Sensor Cleaner
On our last trip, RITV, we experienced problems with our black tank sensors. Last year we started using Unique treatment for the black tank. Due to the problems we recently experienced, we decided to try the Unique Tank Sensor cleaner. After filling the black tank to the top I used 1/2 bottle of the Unique Tank Sensor cleaner and let it sit for 7 days. After emptying the tank and giving it an additional rinse, I measured the amount of water installed in the tank. The sensor measured...

Re: Unique Tank Sensor Cleaner
We have been using the Unique brand of tank cleaning products for a year and they work great! The Unique tank treatment product is the best we have ever used. No tank “piles” and it truly breakers everything down so that it easily flushes out of the tank with no clogs. We are full timers in our 2375 and we have tried just about every quality product on the market and this is the best.

Re: Unique Tank Sensor Cleaner
I did rinse the tanks a couple of times after I dumped the Dawn and borax solution. I did add water and Happy Camper before I stored it. The treatment seemed to remove the lubricity from the seals. Even after several dumps and flushes over the next couple of weeks, it was still difficult to get the valves open and closed. I have never had this problem before I did the treatment. I was going to replace both valves if the mod I made to the valves didn't work. Valve replacement would have been...

Re: Unique Tank Sensor Cleaner
Why would you blame the borax/Dawn treatment? Did you do further rinces until the rinse water ran clear? You shouldn't store the trailer with empty tanks. Alway add a few gallons of water to prevent the knife gate seals from drying completely. Did you follow the full procedure? Sounds to me that the 1 treatment loosened stuff. Watch the video I linked above.

Re: 2013 Lance 2385
Our 1885 is listed as a 2014, but was built in 2013. Our slide very likely is the same as your 2385. What are you needing to know? We did have to have the slide bolted into the wall as it had an issue with the frame pulling away from the outer wall. We did lighten the load in the drawers to less than 50 lbs each, which is what Lance recommends, this includes the outer storage area. Otherwise, we haven't had problems with it. Attached is Lance's 2013 brochure that may give you some info.

Re: Smash and Grab Product Review
Let’s form our own flash mob! This just in……. Large group of seniors storm local Camping World. Reports indicate the only things taken were bottles of tank treatment and a stack of road atlases. The perpetrators were apparently unable to resist stopping next door for breakfast at The Cracker Barrel and were quickly apprehended. Film at 11.

Re: Mopeka Pro Check Water Sensor
Interesting, guess I am lucky, factory tank indicators are pretty accurate. However, I clean black tank for 10 minutes using built in tank flush and finish using gate valve flush as well. Gray gets aggressively cleaned 6 times a year. I switched to this tank treatment years ago, this is the best! Double dose on cleaning day let it sit for several hours, clean as a whistle. https://amzn.to/4aNlTKT

Happy Camper Holding Tank Treatment
My review is for Happy Camper holding tank treatment. We are in Lake Havasu Arizona where it gets very hot in the summer. I have tried different products to curb the odor in the black water tanks in the heat. Happy Camper is by far the best product I have found. We have stayed up to a week in Las Vegas in the summer without dumping the black water. No odor in the camper and no odor after dumping. All my sensors are still working on a 2007 TC. Their website says you can use 2 ply TP and gives...

Re: Happy Camper Holding Tank Treatment
I switched to Happy Camper 1-1/2 years ago after finding the Tech Tank treatment I had been using did nothing to squelch odors. I found the HC is extremely effective at removing odor buildup and I assume it does an adequate job at breaking up the poo though I think most do well. The past 9 months I have started to notice an increase in what appears to be Uric Acid Struvite (see photos in LINK and LINK ) on the bottom of the black tank. I never witnessed these for 4-1/2 years but only about 9...

Re: Happy Camper Holding Tank Treatment
Nothing against "Happy Campers", just offering an alternative. Have used this tank treatment in our RV's since we started RVing. Np chemical or perfume odor. Actually, no odor whatsoever. It just works, from freezing up to 118°+ in the shade (like this past week ). Wish we'd known about it back in our sailboat days. Available at Walmart, Home Depot and on Amazon. Re: Happy Camper Holding Tank Treatment
I have found, both with HC and Unique, that after a few weeks it is good to add some additional treatment to the partially filled tank.

Re: Happy Camper Holding Tank Treatment
During our last trip our blank tank was super funky on the first night after driving 200 miles in 100+ temps. I added a bunch of the Unique toilet cleaner, which was all I had on hand but has the same microbes as the tank treatment, along with several gallons of fresh water before our 250 mile drive to the next stop. The smell was much better when we arrived. I went to Ace the next day and found the Unique tank treatment. I added a few ounces and the tank had zero smell for the rest of the...

Re: Happy Camper Holding Tank Treatment
I have found with Happy Camper in the hotter temps it helps to add more water, not treatment. It states this in their instructions. It fills your tank up faster, but gets rid of any odor. Give it a try.
