We took a little ride to the Rim today, got some great photos! Although the Aspen CG is closed, the trails are open and we hiked around CG and Lake. Lots of fishing going on today! Not sure if anyone caught any. Ran into a small herd of young elk, the girls had fun. Our campsites look great! Lots of shade! Here’s a few pics of our view.

Nice photos Gene.... usually there is a lot more snow than that, I hope they get a lot more before winter closes out or else it will be bone dry come June!

Greetings from White Oak Campground site # 71 !! Made the trip up from Florida with a 14 foot trailer in tow ( place for the bike to ride) The campgrounds are nice, the weather is exceptional and the countryside is beautiful. Leaving this morning, taking back roads for about a 3 hour ride. Roy @Hodag is there in his SOB. Angela and Gordon of Truck Camper Magazine, Ray and a few other TCs are already there. I expect to see a couple of TTs and a Class A in our small gathering area.

May sound funny, but I have to go to this event. I used to live and went to elementary school in Potrero. Back then it was a 1 room school house and my Mom was the Postmaster in Potrero back then. There's also a Historic Train ride in Campo, about 9 miles to the east, that I believe still travels to the top of the Carrizo Gorge. Looks like BC ferries to the Island from Vancouver and CoHo back to Port Angeles, just cant book online yet. Seems to have multiple times on the schedules both directions. The fare is easier to accept when spending 30+ days on the island. 2/23/23 Kept an eye on the Ferries and we now have a boat ride reservations to and from the Island.
