Re: Camp Chef Yukon Double Burner Stove
Very good stove. It should last you for many years. We had the similar model stove for years. DH used it for many years for family and BSA outings before finally donating it to son’s college team. We then downgraded to the Camp Chef Everest 2 burner stove. 20,000btu’s per burner. If don’t already have one, I recommend you get the carry bag, so much easier to store. Enjoy

Re: Camp Chef Yukon Double Burner Stove
I have the Camp Chef Everest 2 as well and love it. The only issue or complaint I have with the stove is the spark igniter is very difficult to engage.

Re: Camp Chef Yukon Double Burner Stove
If you bought it at REI take it back. Or call or email Camp Chef and get a replacement igniter. We bought our carry bag at Bass Pro Shop, also saw them at Sportsman’s Warehouse.

Your Yukon looks great - but kinda large! If you can make room to store and transport it then I’m sure it’s a good unit. Another Everest user here. Excellent stove and I really like being able to cook everything outdoors during the summer. The storage bag is super practical for dealing with transporting the stove.

Re: FlameKing 1 LB Refillable Kit
Here's a home built filler for the flame kings. Cost me 12 bucks for the fitting I did not have. Beats dicking around freezing cylinders and weighing them. The cylinders are about $11.00 is you look around. My camp chef everest runs off higher pressure.

Camp Chef Everest 2X Stove.
If any of you are searching for a new camp stove, I highly recommend this one! I’ve been searching for a new stove for awhile, and thought I was going to have to compromise and get one that had some design flaws. I was leaning toward the Camp Chef Everest, but it some some knocks on it, with the biggest being cheap/flimsy plastic latches. I knew I wanted one with 20,000 BTU burners and could handle large frying pans, and the Camp Chef and a Stansport model were the only ones I could find...

If my Camp Chef Summit bites the dust, I'll take a look at the Everest 2X. I love the 20,000 BTU burners on these Camp Chef stoves.
