The Anderson's again, if site 3 is not available, any one in that first group of sites, 8, 9, 12-14 would be good, as long as it would fit our 27' 2285 - Please let us know when we will be assigned a site. Thanks again, Dirk and Sharon Anderson, first time rally attendees. We look forward to meeting other Lance owners. Actually, after looking at all the posts, whatever would accomodate us would be good. Please let us now when we've been assigned a site that is not a dry camp site.

If we were thinking of attending, how does this sort of get-together work (e.g., do we make our own reservation, or go through someone; is there any group-reservation/discount we need to know for making a reservation; are any group-activities planned;...)? Are there any issues if we came in a non-Lance vehicle? We own a Lance pickup-camper; but also have a (non-Lance) trailer that we'd like to try-out locally before using for any longer trips. I live about a mile away so I'll probably bicycle down as FFs is pretty busy. Is it kosher to ask for guidance on repairs at these events ... I have a cracked bathroom sink in my 2015 1172. Would love to find folks to RV wtih.

Well folks, we're officially less than 30 days to our rally. We have 34 campers signed up for the rally! And maybe a few who made their own ressies. I've been thinking about a notional (and informal) agenda. Suggestions or comments/thoughts are welcome...nothing is carved in stone at this point. If there's sufficient interest, we can charter a bus or van for a wine-tasting excursion...please let me know if you'd be interested in sharing the cost...I have no idea how much that could be, but...

Yes we did make our own reservation. We did the reservation on line so I don't believe we let them know we were part of the rally (we hadn't joined LOA yet!). We can call them and update that. We'll be coming in on Friday. Looking forward to it!

Unfortunately, my allocated spots have all been taken. If you can possibly make your own reservation directly with Flying Flags (not as part of the rally), you're more than welcome to join in the fun and participate in all the activities, but you probably won't be camped near the rest of us. Sorry, but that's the best I can offer you at this time.

We'd love to be going. But this year the DW is still gainfully employed . It's a 3037 mile trip for us, and the way we drive, it'd take us "12" days just to get there. Next year, after she is retired and on MY time schedule.

We were at SCIO 2018 and I have an XXXX Large Tee shirt to prove it. What a fun time... It was almost a last minute decision to attend 2018 but I was able to snag up a cancellation. Almost immediately after arrival, we were greeted by Gary @pau hana , Harriet @fpmtngal and Chuck @shchuck . HUGs all around. Just had a TLIF back surgery a few weeks back and knew we would not make this year. But, chances are pretty good of 2020.

Don't forget that Nebraska requires a state permit to camp, fish, and hunt. Permits are valid through 12/31/2017. I purchased mine at: https://ngpc-permits.ne.gov/NG...faces/public/welcome Permit prices are lower for Nebraska plated vehicles.

NEW INFORMATION: The 1st Annual Great Plains Gathering will meet in the Oak Bluff Campground at Ponca State Park in northeast Nebraska. This is a beautiful area of rolling hills, forest, and cropland along the Missouri River. The Oak Bluff Campground is well shaded and protected from wind. The sites are relatively close together, so we will be able to go between them easily.
