Re: TST 770
I put my booster on the center of the outside front wall, hidden just below the top of the propane tank cover. I ran the wire down to the 7 pin cable junction box that is under the TT near the front.

Re: Ultra-Fab Phoenix 4000 tongue jack
Henry, how did you ground it? Did you just pick a spot to drill a hole and ground it there? The SJ is apparently self-grounded - only the 12V red wire runs out of it. Edit: I guess the chassis ground bar is the appropriate spot. It's another 6 or so feet aft of the junction box.

Re: Ultra-Fab Phoenix 4000 tongue jack
It had a red and a black lead (unlike the SJ's single red). I just put an eye on the black and attached it to one of the wire clamps that was already on the frame. So far, so good.

Re: Renogy 3000 watt inverter/charger
@Les1 as you know there is no room under step. I was able to get my 300a fuse and battery monitor shunt down there. I placed 2 runners front to back to get inverter above hoses and created a chase for ac and dc wiring. I ran runners side to side to mount inverter to over the trough.I removed sink drains so they could be rerouted later. I installed a 30a breaker in a custom made electrical box and fed shore power to it then to inverter. From inverter to transfer switch. The dc I ran from the...

Re: MicroAir EasyTouch 352 RV Thermostat
If the only option is an 11k unit, I'll unfortunately have to pass. Maybe that's how they define it as being a "Power Saver" NDQ unit due to it's using less current than the standard 13.5K NDQ comparatively speaking. I'll explore and investigate.

Re: MicroAir EasyTouch 352 RV Thermostat
I hope you can find out some real information about it. I found the website didn’t have nearly the kind of information it had a couple of years ago when I was looking for a quieter AC option. About all that I could get from it was that the power saver NDQ was 13.5K @sequoia464 - the more I think about my experience with the 1685 - when I had electrical hookups I always heated with a small basic space heater and the Lux thermostat. It did the job quite well - I’d still be using it but found...

Re: MicroAir EasyTouch 352 RV Thermostat
Thanks that makes sense, to me. Being able to access it, via hotspot, could be useful. When I had T mobile hotspot, it was for "home" use and "booster" had gps. Do you use yours, on the road, or just at park?

Re: MicroAir EasyTouch 352 RV Thermostat
To clarify about the WiFi capabilities: The thermostat has to talk to a WiFi router to be able to use remotely, a source that has to stay in the trailer. To talk to it you can use a device connected to the internet - it doesn’t have to be the same network. So I can have the thermostat connected to my Starlink router and my phone could access it with cellular data through the app. Or if you were at the library using their wifi and your thermostat was connected to Starlink, then you could...
