Re: Informal Lance Get Together at Woods Canyon Lake AZ "Aspen Campground" - June 2018

It’s usually about 10 degrees cooler than Payson and the temps at Woods Canyon swing about 30 degrees. The forecast as of today calls for low to mid 80’s during the day and the 50’s at night so bring long pants and long sleeve shirts. We always have jackets. If it rains the temps will drop another 10-15 degrees. rob

FYI there is a significant gain in elevation 2610 ft. between Payson at 4890 ft. and Aspen Camp at 7500 ft. You will know that as you chug up that last hill to reach the top of the rim. It will be a lot cooler than Yuma Sgt.

We've had This Guy since before we got the Lance (2013). It's proved really good at keeping things cool, with an up to 40 degrees difference between outside temps and cooler temps. We got the Koolatron 110 volt adapter, which has just this last trip failed, and we're testing a generic 10 amp replacement, which seems to be working well. We also got the...

The cocktail hour is pretty much a BYOB very informal get-together just to meet the other attendees; a couple of beers in a...

Nice review S & B. We have the Coleman Powerchill ( https://www.amazon.com/Coleman...Cooler/dp/B0083F8YZC ), but it doesn't have wheels and the fan is fairly loud (on both 12 volt & 110 volt). It works pretty good, but we actually don't use it much. Yours looks to be of higher quality.
