Re: Coleman Roadtrip LXE Portable Propane Grill

We added a high pressure T fitting to our main tank. We also carry smaller 1 lb bottles for our lantern, so we have both options. Consumption on this trailer has been much higher than in our old one, so I may just use the little bottles.

Re: Nature's Head Composting Toilet

Jim, I think you could accomplish your mod. What you would need to do would be to buy two liquids jugs. Modify one of them by inserting a bottom drain. From the bottom drain you'd connect the line. You'd have to drill out the bottom side of the main unit and make a slit about 2 times the height of the line. Then you'd need to rout out a bit of the floor to accommodate the line as it feeds back under the head to drain into the black tank. The Oatey plug that you'd use to cap the tank will...

David sounds like you have it all. The rest is improving on what Kaypee and I have done so we can copy LOL. My main goal was to make it easy to use and service and keep any handles out ot the shower curtain area. Greg

Jeff, excellent write up and thanks for the photos. After looking at the two vids you posted regarding drilling the overload spring, I went out and checked what was underneath the Tundra. It will be interesting to see how they have engineered the kit for this truck as the overload spring rides against the main spring pack when the truck is in an unloaded state. Also, that overload spring is 5/8" thick! I guess I'll just have to wait and see what arrives. Here's a photo of my spring pack

TireMinder Smart TPMS - Smartphone Based Tire Pressure Monitor for RVs

Red Barchetta ·
http://www.minderresearch.com/...ure-monitor-for-rvs/ Our last TPMS (by TST) which we used for the past few years completely failed us last month so it's time to give another one a try. Having a single-axle trailer we realize the many benefits in monitoring the pressure & temperature of the TT's 2 tires as well as the main spare tire and a 2nd extreme emergency spare tire that is for trips that are more than a few hours from home (it will stay home for local trips). The main spare tire...

Re: Good Sam RV GPS

DandV ·
Last month we used our Good Sam/Rand McNally GPS for a cross-country trek - Colorado to Georgia, and return. Unfortunately, we were traveling without the TT (staying with family). The GPS worked like a charm. The main criticism I have is the speed limit it displays is often not accurate with the locally posted speed limit. This is not just occasionally, but a regular occurrence. I'm not sure why it's this way. In all other respects, we're really happy with the GPS. Don

Re: Sandisk Cruzer Glide 64GB USB Drive

OK, then, I'll take you at your word that it is a question. For the benefit of others, rather than you: I've been using USB sh!t since forever. I'm a software engineer since around 1984. I've tried a bunch of different USB 'thumb' drives for this application, and none of them worked. I don't know why. I have an m-sata half terabyte SSD drive in a usb 3 enclosure which works just fine. Yeah, I know it won't do 'Trim', but that's fine, it's effectively read-only data. On the other hand, I...
