I just received my TST Wide Screen color monitor yesterday and got it up and running on the bench. Wow! The display is real nice with larger digits and added color. Thanks, Mike, for the excellent review. I've been considering one of these but have been unable to get an answer to a question I have. Hopefully you can help me. When traveling in unfamiliar territory, I like to have the map showing. No destination is entered, just like to see where we are on the map as we move along. Additionally, the map must have a scale on the screen. Does the Nuvi 2797 provide this? Thanks, Bruce

Bruce, The map can be selected even when there is no destination entered. Looks good - so glad this thread has resurfaced. How easy is it to put away by one (short) person? And can one (short) person reach up to push up the roof center piece? One other question: how long is the storage bag? Will it fit across the width of the cab back seat of the truck? Or would it have to be stored along the center aisle of the TC during transit? Thanks.

Missed part of the question, the Clam is a piece of cake for one (short) person to take down. My only suggestion would be to watch a couple of youtube videos to see how it's done (the first move is crucial)
