Re: WeBoost (Wilson Electronics) Drive 4GM Cell Signal Booster
Randy, that indicates that there is a weak signal available and the signal booster would most likely make a difference. So here's what you do. Get a booster, go back there and call me after it's set up. Just make sure your GPS location setting on your phone is enabled before you call..........

Re: WeBoost (Wilson Electronics) Drive 4GM Cell Signal Booster
My older Wilson amp still works great and makes a real difference in being able to get phone service and Internet. On our previous TC I had the antenna mounted pemanently on the roof attached to the roof rack. Tree branch snags would break off the tiny ground plain antenna stub outs. With the new Lance 1172 I decided to keep the antenna portable and and I built a antenna mast out of PVC, 24" threaded sections, that I can erect in a few minutes and mount to the roof access ladder. I mount the...

Re: weBoost Drive Reach RV — Your Thoughts?
We have the 'X', which was their top model when we acquired it. It has very rarely failed from getting some sort of signal in places where none was apparent on the phone's indicator. The interior antenna, which is suppose to work wirelessly within a number of feet around it, seems to work best when our phones are practically touching it. Therefore, we let it dangle from over the dinette table and that keeps it in 'the phone booth'. When signals are really sparse or not shown, we attempt to...

Ring Video Doorbell and Alarm Systems
Ring products are becoming more prevalent for home protection. While I use them, I am not a Ring spokesperson or rep, in any way. I buy what I use. I've have two security systems for my home, ADT (traditional) and Ring (video). But it is the Ring system that I am adapting to my Lance 1685, as I had some extra Ring products, because of upgrades. Right now, I have just the Ring Video Doorbell (Second Generation), which operates on battery and solar, on my trailer. The pros of such a system is...

Wheel Bearing Grease Gun
With 4 wheels, you will be pumping the grease gun hundreds of times to purge the old grease out of the bearing. If you have carpal tunnel or weak hands, the pistol style will cause hand cramping. If you can have a helper slowly turn the wheel while you pump, I highly recommend a lever gun that can be placed on a firm surface and displaces the pumping energy over your entire arm and upper body. Per the manufacturer, the lever style also displaces more grease per stroke, reducing your effort.

Re: 2013 Lance 2385
Our 1885 is listed as a 2014, but was built in 2013. Our slide very likely is the same as your 2385. What are you needing to know? We did have to have the slide bolted into the wall as it had an issue with the frame pulling away from the outer wall. We did lighten the load in the drawers to less than 50 lbs each, which is what Lance recommends, this includes the outer storage area. Otherwise, we haven't had problems with it. Attached is Lance's 2013 brochure that may give you some info.
