Re: 2014 Pismo Beach Rally - 4/3/2014 - 4/8/2014

Bob Rogers ·
Wow, all I can say is what a great group of people!! I had the pleasure of spending a night fireside at Pismo with this wonderful group and just got done telling Jack Cole (Lance President), how gracious and fun they were to hang with. I brought the all new 1052 with the ultraDECKplus bumper and think engunir might want to add this model to his Lance fleet! Next time I hope to bring my family and I look forward to seeing many of you at the Plant Tour Rally & BBQ in September! Koby &...

Great Anti Corrosion and Lube Product

Doug P ·
Oops, I had originally posted this in the wrong Forum area... A fellow Lance member pointed me to the correct Forum..... I wanted to share this product with fellow Lance owners. About 20 years ago I came across this product at a bike show for lubricating parts on a racing bike. I have used this product ever since to lubricate and protect about anything that is made out of bare metal. This product was developed for Boeing aircraft to lubricate and protect metal hinges and other items on an...

Re: Clam Six Pack 1660 Mag Screen Tent (or the Worlds easiest/fastest screen room)

20andOut ·
We have used ours a few times and it's great for keeping out bugs but we have to use a fan inside to move the air around, it doesn't allow much air movement. 100% a big thumbs up for ease of set up and take down. We store it in the TT during travel and then sit it on the back bumper until I'm ready to set it up.

When backing the TT, I move the camera to the rear bumper of the TT, and it gives me a full view of everything behind the TT. Using the camera, I often get the TT out of...

HAMSTERS!!!!! Great install report, Mike! Nice to see the new-generation 1575 has a wide battery bracket/tray to accommodate Torklift's PAS box. Much simpler to deal with than our first-gen. 1985!!! [slightly too narrow and close to the nose - req'ing any of several less simple options - see here: Torklift's New Power Armor Solar Battery Box ]. Still curious how and whether these PASes will fit onto the tongues of the other new-gen. Lances, what with the recessed battery tray under the new...

Torklift International PowerArmor Solar – product and installation review

MikeP ·
A short while back someone asked what mods we would be looking to make in 2016. I mentioned I would like to make secure my two 12v Interstate batteries that are sitting on the tongue of our 1575. Shortly afterwards I was contacted by Kerstin at Torklift International who asked if I would like to evaluate one of their PowerArmor products for free. Of course I was more than happy to do so. I know that Plance has already documented a similar install but wanted to share my experience. Hopefully...

Swagman RV Ladder Bike Rack

HavaBrew22 ·
I purchased the Swagman RV Ladder Bike Rack on Amazon for about $60. Not having the option of mounting a bumper bike rack and not wanting to add to the tounge wieght with a front end mount, I figured this was the best option for me and my 2017 Lance 2185. It holds two bikes up to 35 lbs each. I have used on about 6 trips now with no issues even with our heavy beach cruisers. I did add some padded tape to prevent the metal support arm from scratching my Ladder. If your in the market for a...

BAL X-Chocks

HavaBrew22 ·
From the manufacturer: The X-Chock Provides added stabilization and prevents tire shifts by applying opposing force to tandem tire applications. As opposed to other chocks, the X-Chock works with the tires’ natural movement instead of against them. Fits even the tightest of applications retracting down to 1 3/8” and extends to 10”. Rust inhibitive coating. Plated ratchet wrench with comfort bumper included. Lightweight, easy to store. Lockable for added security with optional 28015 Pad Lock.
