I have the Mopeka for my propane tanks. The batteries seemed to make it almost 2 years. I know they last one year no problem but I would not be a confident the 2nd year. I would replace these batteries once a year. The app is also great at letting you know your battery level.

any idea how long batteries last? I tried the Mopeka propane level system, not accurate at all, ended up throwing it out. Be interested to see how well this unit works over time. Install looks very easy.

You can see my October 2023 post about the Mopeka Pro Check in this section too. Just the other day I looked at my battery (in use for ~12 months) in the app graphic and the battery was full. Apparently it goes to sleep until you ping it via the app. If you want accurate accounting for your fresh water tank, this is a very easy gadget that will do the job.
