I have the Mopeka for my propane tanks. The batteries seemed to make it almost 2 years. I know they last one year no problem but I would not be a confident the 2nd year. I would replace these batteries once a year. The app is also great at letting you know your battery level.

any idea how long batteries last? I tried the Mopeka propane level system, not accurate at all, ended up throwing it out. Be interested to see how well this unit works over time. Install looks very easy.

Are you frustration of not really knowing how much water you have in your fresh water tank? The 4 lights don't seem to work very well and when it hits Empty you anywhere from 0 Gallons to 15 Gallons. Nicely done and well documented. Great way to hide the batteries and still have easy access.

You can see my October 2023 post about the Mopeka Pro Check in this section too. Just the other day I looked at my battery (in use for ~12 months) in the app graphic and the battery was full. Apparently it goes to sleep until you ping it via the app. If you want accurate accounting for your fresh water tank, this is a very easy gadget that will do the job.

Thank you! I bought the dielectric grease to install them with. For anyone trying these out, be sure to not miss the step to program what size tank you're measuring to get an accurate measurement. Attached is some helpful advice from the tech support to help you get these working correctly. second one is to re pair the sensor if it’s unpaired from the app.

They worked fine for me. Make sure to have the gel on the contact area.

Tom Weiz, wants your opinion of how the propane tank sensors preform. I just bought some, seems like a good product. Great customer support. I bought the two pack of sensors and a monitor for inside the trailer. sensors hooked up to the app as described. Monitor didn’t seem to program. Contacted them, they sent me a new one in about 4 days. It worked / programmed as described. wondering about your thoughts? Roger Aka Happy Camper 2
