Re: Folding Bikes
Another camping cyclist here Currently all of my folders are vintage... 1970's Raleigh Twentys and 1980's Dahon Classic III's. There are a lot of options out there, choose the one that works best for you! The Raleighs were ~$100 a piece not including upgrades. I bought the pair of Dahon's from a local thrift store for $100. Only the red one has been upgraded so far, probably have $70 in new parts on that one. My Raleigh (the one with the head light) has over $300 in upgrades and stuff on it.

Re: Folding Bikes
Bicycles are like canoes and kayaks. There are many makes and models with different price ranges and quality, serving different purposes. There is not a one size fits all. First decide on the type of riding you intend to do. We started with hybrid bicycles. Not especially great for road riding or mountain biking but they got us out and where we wanted to go...mainly short distances riding comfortably upright on both pavement and dirt and a workout on longer distances. And, the gearing was...

Re: Trinova Plastic and Trim Restorer (...as well as trailer frames!)
I used a similar product to remove chalking from epoxy paint on our boat years ago. It seemed to last about two months - but it looked great! Yes, this is a bit more HD than hazing, unfortunately. On the "bright" side, the converter is also a primer that leaves the metal a semi gloss black - when done correctly. So far, I've done the tire carrier and when the weather improves, I'll start at the back bumper and work forward.

Re: Trinova Plastic and Trim Restorer (...as well as trailer frames!)
The product is not a "paint" what it does is it clears off the hazing that most paints get after a while. The classic black frame paint is a prime example, with this product it gets a "like new" appearance, at least for a while...

Re: Happy Camper Holding Tank Treatment
I ordered the unique, I sit for several months, every summer and use macerator. I normally move every two weeks, but with temps in 90s and above, I've been noticing it. They have several choices, extra strength, classic and liquid/pods, along with cleaners and such. Walmart had decent price on both, extra strength was almost double of classic, but classic is available for pick up. I ordered extra strength liquid, for summer, but will probably go with classic on the road. I've tried "pods"...

Re: Happy Camper Holding Tank Treatment
I have found, both with HC and Unique, that after a few weeks it is good to add some additional treatment to the partially filled tank.
