POO-POURRI Toilet Spray

HavaBrew22 ·
From the Manufacturer : Most odor eliminators are as “natural” as pleather pants. But Poo~Pourri takes natural seriously. We care about your health, your toilet, and this precious world we poop in. That’s why we use NO harsh chemicals—just stink-fightin’ good stuff (oh, and a pinch of magic). Unlike the other guys, Poo~Pourri is safe to breathe and safe to flush. NO synthetic fragrance NO alcohol NO aerosol NO parabens NO phthalates NO formaldehyde ALL stink-fightin’ good stuff Directions:...

I have avoided using the product. If you watch the many videos put out about the product it always shows that a deep water approach is needed. PooPourri is sprayed on the water surface to form a "barrier" and when "the astronauts splash down" the odor is trapped. No bad odor just a flowery fragrance. https://www.youtube.com/result...rch_query=poo+pourri We are very stingy with the amount of water we use. Does the product still work without the deep water approach?

Jim, I fully understand your view point. But can I assume you use some 'Black Tank' treatment like most of us? We also try too use a minimal amount of water in the bowl, just enough to create a water block to fumes in the tank escaping. Well Poop- Pourri acts as a secondary barrier to control fumes, even with a minimal amount of water and in as much a Very Small amount of Poop Pourri! It's a double down on Black Tank odors! Or a Win-Win odor fighter!! Happy Campers BobnRobin

I don't use that much water. Is your tank really that much bigger than mine?

I think POO-POURRI will still work on a snorkeler as well as a diver. LOL

Mike, I can’t be too specific because I don’t know. When I drilled I didn’t hit anything that stopped me but when I fastened there were a few spots that the screws would not go all the way in...not everywhere but a few holes with some framing or barrier. . So I cut those and all has held great and hinges work great. Sumner

Re: IRVWPC - Intelligent RV Water Pump Controller

Doug, aka Atchafalaya Man ·
Another sneaky leak that can make your water pump burp every hour or so is a leaking check-valve in the city-water hose connection on the outside of the rig. It might only drip a few drops over time but if you are in a very dry climate, it may evaporate before you can notice it. The quick fix for that, rather than changing out the whole valve/connector, is screwing in a plastic water hose fitting 'plug' to form a physical barrier to keep it from dripping on the ground. Not a bad idea anyway...

I'll check that out. I do, in fact, live in a dry climate so I would not notice any drips. I'll remove the dust cover and see if it's wet.
