Re: Summer Camping in Oregon Rally 2017 - this is the 5th year for ( SCIO )
Attached is a YouTube link showing each individual campsites at LaPine State Park. Since the video starts with the cabins and sites 1,2, 3...., you may want to fast forward approx. 6 min. into the video to get to site 60 or so. There is no sound associated with this video. Hope you find this useful. (Some of you may need to copy and past into a browser, in order for the video to work.) Thomas in Bend, OR La Pine State Park Camping Sites: https://youtu.be/7K86UliKhUI

Re: Midland Weather Alert Radio
We had 2 Midland radios but got rid of them. The weather-alert alarm was so loud and scary sounding, we couldn't take the shock of hearing it go off. It was a high-low-high-low screech that sounded like a nuclear attack was imminent. And, we couldn't adjust the sound down to a lower volume so I just gave up on them. Our other weather radios have a warning 'tone' to alert you. We were able to select a single or few counties nearby to alarm when there was an alert. It reduced the number of...

Re: Informal Lance Get Together at Woods Canyon Lake AZ "Aspen Campground" - June 2018
Thanks to Galvanizd for posting this. We have found that during fire restriction times we were still able to use our portable fire pit with lava rock and propane. Not sure if that will be allowed given the extreme dry conditions right now. Hope for rain before June 6-12 rolls around. Really looking forward to meeting everyone! We would like to plan a nightly happy hour at 5:30pm, at out site 117. This gives everyone time to eat then come relax for an hour or two with their favorite beverage.

Re: VIAIR 88P Portable Air Compressor
Unfortunately, my VIAIR 88P seems to have died on me the second time I put it to use. I was topping off the tires on my TV when the VIAIR made a phhht sound, and stopped pushing air. I replaced the 20 amp blade fuse in the cord, but it still doesn't work. I'm open to suggestions from anyone who knows more about these than I do. Don

Re: Torklift Lower StableLoads on a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 towing a Lance 1575
Thanks Erick! The trip is in 10 days. I will definitely be giving these a solid test & a thorough review. All - Erick is referring above to springs that don't have factory stops (& holes) on the ends of the springs. Torklift has a kit for that. However, it sounds like drilling the holes isn't as quick and easy as Torklift makes it sound. Here is the kit - StableLoad Quick Disconnect (Lower Overload) Part #A7311 (With drill kit) - http://www.torklift.com/index....stableload#drilltool

DandV Sound very good. What they can do now days with electronics is just amazing! If you have chance, take some pictures and post them on the Forum. I'm sure there are others that will find your findings very interesting. Also, you may want to try it on the back of your trailer. You never know, maybe real useful there too! Happy Camping Bob

Re: Sandisk Cruzer Glide 64GB USB Drive
Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt. It really was just a question. The original post, with no background info, made it sound as though it might be something new for you. If so, I thought I’d throw out some other options but it looks like you’re covered. As far as photo storage goes, a flash drive would certainly work (depending on number and size of photos) but it’s awfully susceptible to loss if it’s the only place your precious memories are stored. Look into one of the cloud...
