I have installed the MicroAire on my Coleman 15k. It would not start on the Honda 2000 without it. As to RobertMT's question I think the answer is yes. I think I've kind of looked at it from a whole system point of view as opposed to focusing on single components. If you decide where you want to end up and design a whole system that has adequate capacity you will likely be happy. If I made one mistake it was probably in the buying a TT with the Coleman 15k. As a kid I had to set siphon tubes into ditches to irrigate crops. You place your hand over the end of the tube to pull the water up and then just plop it down over the ditch bank. That skill has stayed with me over the years and anytime I need to start to siphon I just put my thumb over the end of the tube to create a vacuum. Same idea as the marble but on the other end of the hose!

One important topic I haven't seen specifically mentioned ( other than the 30A adaptor ) in this informative thread is the gauge and length of the wire in the extension cord and the quality of the plugs. For the single 2k or 2.2k generator the shortest 12 AWG extension cord should be used. If one is running a longer 16 or 14 AWG cord than necessary there will be some loss of current on high demand periods.
