RV Sleeping Systems Shootout, Bedmaid vs. RV Superbag
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, our RV Superbag arrived. We have been using a Bedmaid for a few years and have now slept in both and can comment as to the qualities each provides. You know what... Even though we're a small and intimate group and I know everyones name, I feel a name tag is in order. It was suggested in another post for another rally that a name and also the LOA user name be included. I now believe Jumbo Jet is Jim. I'll have to confirm.

Mike, good review. Another nice feature of the newer Garmins is the improved satellite reception. I prefer to mount my GPS on the console between the two front seats, instead of the dash or windshield. The newer Garmins work well when located away from the windshield. With my old Garmin mounted on the console, I had to use an external antenna mounted on the dash, in order to receive the satellite signals.

Second time appears to be charm. The replacement tent came with the box intact. We took it out today and opened it in less than two minutes. It only took that long because we opened it in our living room and it filled up the room. Everything seems to be in order, and this tent is just what we were looking for. It's beyond me why the manufacturer couldn't send us a non-defective tent the first time (it was obvious the first tent was defective the moment we tried to set it up). That's...

Attached is a YouTube link showing each individual campsites at LaPine State Park. Since the video starts with the cabins and sites 1,2, 3...., you may want to fast forward approx. 6 min. into the video to get to site 60 or so. There is no sound associated with this video.
