We've been using the Good Sam GPS for over a month now. Haven't used it yet for an RV trip (not before April of this year), but we did take it with us to Atlanta, GA over Christmas. I agree that this is a great grill. It also functions well as an outdoor stove with the optional stove grate. This is really handy when you don’t want to make noise or generate heat in the trailer, or if you just want to enjoy your great campsite. I also like that it is designed to be transported and moved around once you get there. This is a critical aspect to keep in mind when choosing a portable grill.

Do you connect directly to the propane tank on the TT, or do you carry a separate tank? If directly have you experienced and diminished performance due to two regulators?

I use the 1 lb propane tanks which allows me to put the grill wherever I like. I believe you can convert the grill to use the low pressure outlet on your trailer. I recall seeing posts with detailed instructions to do this.

Hey Tim, correct, none of the sites have electric and they do allow generators. We have solar panels but always bring the gen. Incase the suns not shining down on us. 118 is right across from us and is a nice deep site. Each site has a picnic table, grill and fire pit. If we don’t get more rain soon there may be fire restrictions comes June, how ever, we have a propane portable pit with lava rock and those are always allowed. The camp ground has a number of locations within the camp ground to fill up with potable water so that's nice and on the way out there is a dump site for $7.... Jim, I think you could accomplish your mod. What you would need to do would be to buy two liquids jugs. Modify one of them by inserting a bottom drain. From the bottom drain you'd connect the line. You'd have to drill out the bottom side of the main unit and make a slit about 2 times the height of the line.
