Re: SUMMER CAMPING IN OREGON RALLY 2018 - (SCIO) Rally

Kent Smith ·
Hey @RonK , welcome to LOA and the Lance Life. I noticed you posted your question in a thread tracking a Lance rally. Were you on the list to attend? If yes, we have dozens of people who would love to take you through your systems at the rally. If you were not attending, I assume you are looking for someone to stop by who lives close. You are 400+ miles away from me, so I am probably out for anytime soon. You might also want to start a new post with your question in the title. That way...

Hi, In reply to the question of what spot I want, all the full hookups were taken when I registered today, so I registered for dry camping. There'll be just me, so however the spots are picked, one for me and my 2385 would be fine. Thanks. Brian

Its just an area where you can park where you want.

Am I missing something? You asked what we as a group are doing with your pets... I think my response was self explanatory.. My question too you was what were you asking the group.. I think the general consensuses would be the same for any group of RV people. The pets come with you

Railking, you're missing something. The question MikeK asked looks rather simple to understand, why you're having trouble with it appears to be the only mystery. MikeK, I think it would be best to call Lance at (661) 949-3322, to see if they will allow pets inside the factory. My guess is no. I do not remember any pets inside the last time.

Eric, we paid for 3 nights - 1 dry and 2 wet (and if we're coming to California, chances are it will rain). I obviously missed the note about picking a spot when I registered, so I assume I have been assigned a spot. I'm okay with that. Any chance you know at this time which spot(s) that would be? (I think I asked you this question earlier on the wrong forum). Thanks for any info Eric. Rochelle "make the moost out of life"

Hi Royce and Jackie -- I think others have sort of answered your questions already, so I won't ignore the question but don't want to bore you Please send me a PM with details so I can get all of you added to the rally roster - that's what I use to make sure everyone is accounted for and getting their questions answered Preferred names / Lance forum 'screen name' / home base / year & model of camper please... thanks for coming- we are excited to know you! Whatever you are comfortable with the weight full of water, what rig you have and how far you are traveling with access to good water before arriving are just some of the questions you can think about. The water in Quartzite at the Pit Stop was good and last year cost $4.00 to fill your tank. There is also metered water to fill jugs last year was 25 cents a gallon or 5 gallons for a buck. We have traveled both full of fresh and with limited quantities, we just factor in all the particular...

Dave and Jerri, Normally only Gathering and Rallys are on the calendar. Not sure of your question, but the Quartzsite collection is an informal gathering of Lance owners in Quartzsite, AZ in January. It coincideds with 2 events, the Quartzsite giant RV show and RITV (Usery Reginial Park Mesa, AZ.) , which occur in mid January each year. If read this thread you'll get most the details. If you want to join us you are more than welcome!! Bob

Hi Dave. I am not the coordinator of this event, but I can answer your question. Yes, it is Quartzsite, AZ. It is just a gathering of people who are on their way to RITV. it is VERY informal with no activities within the gathering. It's just Lance people enjoying each other's company. Bonnie

Jackalope, Please accept my apology for not seeing your post earlier. I have watched the 1st Annual Great Plains Gathering thread daily, but have forgotten to watch this one. Most of the activity is on that thread. Anyway, I am glad you were able to snag that spot, and I'm looking forward to seeing you there. You may want to read what is on that thread if you have the time. It is quite lengthy. Here is a recap of the events and instructions. It's fairly loosely organized. Thursday Sept. 21:...

Hi Royce and Jackie - First things first -- All rally discussion is on the Discussion Forum -- here's a link: https://community.lanceowners....1#604102176117071401 (if that link doesn't work, go to my signature block here in the calendar and click on the highlighted ECR thread) To answer your question, we are waiting until close to the rally to see what the COVID situation is to do the schedule. Pretty sure we will not do potluck this year. The link above should take you straight to my post...
