Re: Northern CA LOA rally - 1/17/14 to 1/19/14 (1/20 for some)

KPorsch ·
Sites 28 & 29 are right next to each other and in an open area. The table at site 29 also is not chained down so we may be able to move it if needed. Between the two fire pits in that area we should be good or if we move the table we could probably get around the one in site 29.

Re: Informal Lance Get Together at Woods Canyon Lake AZ "Aspen Campground" - June 2018

lewander ·
Yeah, I mistakenly said site #116. The correct site is #114! Just a slip of my index finger on the keyboard. I'll arrive on Wednesday, the 6th, and depart on Sunday, the 10th. I'll probably move down to Canyon Point and check in there for a couple of days or more. I won't be in a big hurry to get back to the heat!!

Ok, the factory visit is starting to look good. But it looks like I'm a few months late. I saw if you're dry camping you can park anywhere on the site...really! There's got to be more information than that, having to move your rig because of... UPDATE: We sign up for two nights of Dry camping, I will be seeking A LOT of information prior to this trip. Never done dry camping , going to try that next month, and I will seeking some hard learned knowledge.

You are a dog owner, so what exactly do you want to know? Our Dogs are family. Wherever we go they go.. If we need to move to a shaded campsite we do it. If they need to be attended to in any manner they are taken care of.

Re: SUMMER CAMPING IN OREGON RALLY

SerKel ·
It is so sad that our next door neighbor (Ashland) had to cancel! So I'll be the only one from the F loop, unless some one from the H loop cancels too, then I'll try to move closer.

There were a lot more people that registered for dry camping, what happened? Did they all move somewhere else or did they just cancel?

I was able to move every one from Dry to Full Hook ups and the rest cancelled.

Such a great time! Everyone, and I truly mean everyone, was as fabulous as you would expect. I'll post all of my thoughts on that in the appropriate after-party thread when it shows itself. However, I need to discuss trains, raccoons, coyotes, & lions. Yep, you read that right - raccoons. So after 2 nights in a tent I actually got used to the continuous sounds of trains, coyotes, & lions, but this morning at 5:10 when I crawled out of my tent to start loading my car for the drive...

We just camped on Kenosha Pass (above South Park, east of Fairplay) with our new 2285. Great trip! Pulling the trailer with our Lexus GX470 proved to be no problem! Have camped for many years in South Park (we're virtually natives); one of the greatest places to camp/hike/bike in Colorado!

There’s a thread about 2020 Quartzsite collection here: https://community.lanceowners.org/topic/3rd-annual-quartzsite-collection-january-2020 I’ll post coordinates when I occupy the spot on the 9th, or if someone gets there first before the 9th, let me know so we can compare notes if they aren’t sure where the spot we want is. I’ll be in the area before the 9th and will move over then to stay legal for the 14 day free limit. It’s all very informal, just come and hang out with other Lance...

We decided it was time to move on, and we sold our 2020, 2465 last month. I have come to know folks from the ECR well and will miss seeing you. I have one comment for the LOA group. I cannot count the times that I had a problem or issue with my trailer, I would come on the site and find many a great idea and others experience with the same issue. In these times we are still going through, do not know how I would have found reliable solutions. Without the sharing of your experience. Thank...

Re: Rally on Vancouver Island!!

SerKel ·
I have been living on the island for almost a year now (will be a year in July) and am so very glad I made the move. It was the right thing for me. Beauty everywhere and great people to spend time with. So glad that many of you are coming and even more impressed that I do not have to a sales pitch! Thanks to all of you! Glad that I will be meeting some new faces and seeing some longstanding friends. Looking forward to it!
