Also, make sure you have the "eco" mode turned off when you're trying to start it. After you get it started and warmed up a little, then put it into eco mode.

Oh thanks, Lauren. The cap on my 2400 that has no movable vent, but rather just vents automatically. The cap on my 2000 has a movable vent.
