Using a king on a queen is great advice, I suspect most people would be happier, blanket wise, if they did. We have a large dog that likes to lay between us, and with queen comforter, we BOTH would be without covers as he pulled them down tight and wadded them up.. We switched to using a king comforter and BAM! no more issue.
